Jace was born and raised in a small community not far from GimbleWood, where He lived and worked on his families farm. While farming did take much of his life, Jace took a particular interest in metal working. In Jaces free time he learned the craft of smithing from a nearby blacksmith. When Jace turned the age of 10 He was allowed less and less time due to increasing demands of

farm life, Which caused him to pursue the craft more intently.

 

Despite commonly avoiding the events of the world outside his community, Jace unfortunately had to leave his old life behind to escape to the Isles of Vailor. Upon jaces arival in this new land, he found himself without instruction or guidance, Luckily a kind fellow not much older than jace himself, Named "Garion," gave him useful advice and guidance that Provided jace with the courage needed to adventure the nearby lands gathering all the information and teachings he could aquire on his beloved craft, of smithing.
