I want to see what professions we're going to have so we don't end up with 20 blacksmiths.

My personal skill dispersion will be:

100 Sword

35 Blacksmith

50 Mining

20 Farming

30 Wrestling

40 Archery? Something random.

Preferred job: Miner for money; warrior/combat trainer for the army.

100 Swords

80 Archery

50 Mining

35 Blacksmithing

10 Farming

((If taming gets added, or anything rangerlike, I'll likely add some points to that.))

((Ned Lud's going to be sort've an orcish ranger and not the conventional orcish brute. As far as interests go, I doubt I'll ever be interested in any top-dog leadership positions. My work schedule's changing and I may not always be on during prime time. I prefer to work on the sidelines as a specialist or "middle-management" at best. I like scouting and gathering intel and if my Villain Application ever gets approved, I'll be interested in looting and low-key assassination. I'll also be around anytime there's a need for grunt-work, like mining or basic building.))

50 mining

50 farming

50 lumberjack

100 blacksmith

25 axes

That's the plan for now. I'll probably bring blacksmith down some and add to axe mastery.

OOC:

- 100 Fishing

- 100 Axe Mastery

- 30 Lumberjacking

- 25 Mining

- 10 Excavation

- 10 Farming

That is for now, but it will probably change a bit.

Not at this moment. But they should.

((Maybe players could include what sort of things they'll be interested in doing as well, so that we can steer everyone towards positions, assignments and tasks that they'll get the most out of. I'm gonna edit my first post with my own interests.))

Blawharag:

Currently:

40+ Swords

35+ Blacksmithing

Other skills that aren't important

Goal:

100 Swords

70 Blacksmithing

~50 mining (Temporary)

100 Magic (Will replace mining when Magic is released, assuming they share the 275 skill cap)

((I wish they would add the racial stats soon so we could better understand the rp our characters are going to persue. With MCMMO only goblins ever stood a reasonable chance of becoming diamond repairers and could never hope to be proficient with an axe. As it stands though there are only a few Goblins so i couldn't say "becoming a blacksmith and not being a goblin would be against rp" because there would be like 2 Blacksmiths for the Orc nation. I just feel like a Goblin should never be as adept in swords as an Orc ten times the size, just like an orc couldn't even hold a diamond correctly let alone cut it and fit it into armor. I guess this is more just a hope that more Goblins come to Aegis to be the support units for the fighting Orcs))

Looks like we're going to have 20 Blacksmiths. I'd like to get up to iron level and cap it at that so that I can assist with basic armor repairs when the main armorers aren't around. After that I'll be tossing ores to poor Yahg. For Diamond, I think we ought to just let the goblins handle that. There also aren't many other skills aside from killing and pounding metal that really apply to most of us orcs, which probably explains all the mining and blacksmithing. Hopefully as more skills are implemented, the specializations will expand from there.

Goal:

100 swords

50 mining

10-20 farming

That's about it so far. Every other role has been taken, so I might play with Wrestling more. And/or cooking.

After reading your post, I think you're right. I'm going to stop my Blacksmithing at 35 and trust Yahg will stay active and committed enough to repair diamond stuff when it becomes necessary.
