ZFO 3 Share Posted September 16, 2015 Everyone who rps here has dealt with this. Say your playing a orc and your killing some guard who called you a shitskin in the middle of a forest. all of a sudden 5 magical buddys pop out of no where and pvp default you. its sad. 60 feet off course and 5 of their buddys just pop out of nowhere. to combat this, there should be a rule stating that if an rp fight has been going for 3 minutes, no one else can join, with the exeption if there was valid rp. Say your robbing a guard in the middle of a street, if a guard was already in the town, they can join the fight. not if they just came from fast travel. Secondly, there should be a command that displays a user's past 5-10 pms. it would notify them if you checked. it can be useful if your forking out meta birds, or if they are flat out metagaming. you could only use it once every 30 min. so, tell me what are you guy's ideas?
Mj. 697 Share Posted September 16, 2015 Definitly getting somewhere with these. I like the ideas, but poking in TS is just as effective as PMing. The first idea sounds good though. +
ZFO 3 Author Share Posted September 16, 2015 Thanks, theres not much to do for ts rn. but if 10 people show up out of nowhere theres a possibility it could be a mass message or a no emote bird
Runabarn 1028 Share Posted September 16, 2015 Just tell them to stop metagaming and if they continue report them for blatantly breaking the rules.
ZFO 3 Author Share Posted September 16, 2015 That doesnt change anything. even if they take the blame no doubt they will do it to someone else. Killing 1 fish does not kill the rest of the population.

Stag 3234 Share Posted September 16, 2015 I say if you aren't in the immediate viscinity and aren't in a town then you shouldn't join no matter what. By the time you got there RPly the fight RPly should have ended. Typing it out just takes longer than the amount of time it took you to blockjump or fast travel from one city to the middle of no where.

Nice try though :)))
Sky 0 Share Posted September 16, 2015 There has been a lot of times that I can recall actually accidentally stumbling upon stuff like that, with zero metagaming. My favourite one was during the Wolvengard, stumbling upon a group of people robbing our leader by complete accident and then being called metagamers, fun times. Sometime's it's just random occurrence brother.
ZFO 3 Author Share Posted September 16, 2015 Yes, but the chances are so slim, the 90% of other times are metagaming.
