The letters would also be posted on notice boards around the Kingdom for all to read and know. “Grand Citizens of Urguan, it is with great pride that I present you your new Grand Merchant, Vondan of the clan Frostbeard. It has come to my attention that Vondan is the most viable candidate out of the nominations, something that I myself can agree with. While his experience may not be grand as some others, I believe that this small shortcoming will not hinder him in any way, nay, I think it will be an advantage to him. Let it be known this day, 12th of the First Seed in the year of 1531 that Vondan be elevated to a position on the King's Council.
