The Principality of Laureh’lin

 

The Princely State of Laureh’lin is governed by the Emerald Council. The Emerald Council hold absolute power over all who reside within the isle of Laureh’lin. The Emerald Council is made up to two parts, the Noble Council and Low Council.

 

The Court of Roots

The Court of Roots is made up of the nobility of Laureh'lin.

 

 

High Prince - Artimec of Caerme'onn Seed

His Highness, ruler of the Dominion. The High Prince of Laureh’lin is the de facto head of state of not only Laureh'lin but the entire Dominion of Malin, and wields undisputed power as monarch.

 

 

Prince - Calius of Terin Seed

The master of Justice, codifies the law of the Principality. He serves as the state judge when trying and sentencing criminals, with the final word over all but the Prince himself. In addition, he oversees the city’s cultural growth and maintains elven traditions. As High Prince Caerme'onn rules over the entire Dominion of Malin, Calius serves as a domestic head-of-state for the Principality of Laurelin under said dominion, despite still answering to the High Prince.

 

Lady Steward - Arahaelth of Aureon Seed

Lady Aureon is the state Guildmaster, and commands all affairs of labour and economy. In addition, she oversees the city’s housing and taxes, appointing stewards to perform domestic work as she sees fit.

 

Lady-Secretary - Siri Ihelia

The lady/lord secretary is the official hand of the High Prince. They will aid directly in drafting the common law of the dominion, organizing national policy and aiding the High Prince in his general duties. The secretary may summon any councillor of any station upon the King’s express order.

The Assembly of Leaves

The Assembly of Leaves is made up of the Keepers of Laureh'lins various noble Seeds.  The Court of Roots delegates authority and responsibility to these individuals as they see fit. In votes over affairs of states, a majority vote of all Assembly members counts as a single vote in the Court of Roots.

 

Elvrohir of Aureon Seed

Keeper of Seed Aureon, and Grandmaster of the Order of Sirame, the Principalities military and guard order. Officially titled El’Annil, he is responsible for promotion within the ranks of the Sirame, as well as recruitment, leadership and maintenance of the Order. The El’Annil reports directly to the King, and defers to the Prince to deliver sentences to criminals, though has authorization to take matters into his own hands in the event of immediate threats.

 

Aenor of Calithil Seed

Keeper of the Calithil Seed, and the one responsible for ensuring that his Seed continues to assume all the responsibilities required of it to retain its noble status.

 

Damai of Torena Seed

Keeper of the Torena Seed, and the one responsible for ensuring that his Seed continues to assume all the responsibilities required of it to retain its noble status.

 

Dwyn of Tinuvial Seed

Keeper of the Tinuvial Seed, and the one responsible for ensuring that his Seed continues to assume all the responsibilities required of it to retain its noble status.
