How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I was looking for roleplay severs and I liked how yours was run

What is roleplaying?: acting as a character as if you are them

What is metagaming?: using information you got OOC and using it to your advantage IC 

What is powergaming?: Choosing to not allow realistic actions or outcomes to take place.  To overpower other players with these decisions, or making up rules that are convenient for you, or making it so you don't lose.   

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Morthil Elkhazel

Character’s sex: male

Character’s race: dark elf

Character’s age: 57

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

     Morthil had a dark past.  At age 6 he was abandoned by his parents and left to fend for himself.  He had gone into many caves and had no fire to cook anything.  At age 9 he was found by a weary traveler named Barth, who ended up adopting him.  He was taken to the city of Vivec where he lived for 29 years.  There he learned how to shoot a bow and wield a sword.Barth developed feverish symptoms making him weak and bed ridden.He soon died which severely hurt Morthil.

     At age 38 he set out on his own again, promising to return to Vivec.  During this time he traveled the world.  Morthil visited Kal'Akash where he was taught to mine and to craft swords and other tools.  He visited the Wood Elf city of Laureh'lin, where he met Nirvin, who became his friend and fellow adventurer.  Morthil and Nirvin joined in on the Wood Elf revolt against the High Elves.During the revolt he stumbled upon a wizard using water evocation. Since then, Morthil and Nirvin have traveled north to the mountains to find a water evocation wizard to train under, unsuccessful they gave up on the idea in search for a new one.  On one adventure, they found themselves surrounded by a band of Orcs.  Morthil was able to slip away, though left with a permanent eye injury.  Nirvin, on the other hand, was captured and killed.  Morthil sought anyone or anything to help him on his revenge, so he had watched the entity Emerald Dominions creation, in hope that it would help him.Unable to find any help he decided to go alone and confront the orcs. Demanding answers he learned that the banished clan Kaxil had been looking for slaves to sell.He has become afraid to make friends in fear that he will lose them forever. Ever since then Morthil has been shattered and broken, feeding into a darker personality. With each passing day, he falls deeper into the darkness of the void.  

Personality Traits:  lonely, broken, motivated, wise, passive, respectful, and holds grudges easily 

Ambitions:  To be part of something big

Strengths/Talents:  good with a sword, decent with a bow, good writer, excellent survival skills

Weaknesses/Inabilities:  introvert, effective verbal communication, blind in right eye making him a less accurate shooter
