Just past Dour Watch ye will find the humble settlement, the finest sight in all of Istria! The home of artisans and workers alike, with plenty of work available to ye poor souls out there!”

Here you will find comfortable housing for reasonable prices, for the loving family or the lone wolf. Accomodation is never an issue in Alsace!

For the merchant or the craftsman we also have a marketplace for you to thrive in with shops and stalls of all sizes.

 

 

If you fancy a mug of ale or a cup of wine after a long day of work then you best find your arse a seat at The Singing Bird Tavern and Inn. Here you can captivate your fellow Larians with stories and tricks, why there’s always a shindig at The Singing Bird!

 

And for those interested, the tavern is currently lacking an owner, the tavern comes with a decent stockpile of drinks, food and treats.

Workers and artisans  may find themselves in need of coin, but fret not because in Alsace you can work for the County approved Isriot Mercentile Company to turn your hard work into well deserved coin.

 

Those who wish to serve the empire martially may speak to the Count himself or his constable to join the Isriot Guard and defend your homeland from threats both foreign and domestic. Make your family proud, you men of the empire.

The Council

The council assists the Count in administrating his holding, these councillors are given authority over certain fields based on their expertise and experience in the respective role.

 

- Castellan -

The Castellan serves as His Lordship’s secretary and notary. He is granted the authority to rule the county in His Lordship’s absence and to call council meetings when he feels the need for one.

He is also charged with helping his fellow councillors in any way he can.

 

- Treasurer -

The Treasurer is the county’s chief financial officer. He is charged with setting taxes, approving guilds and allocating funds for the council or the county’s projects. He is also to head the stewards of Laria, giving him authority to sell land.

 

- Constable -

The Constable is the justiciar and defender of Alsace. As the second in command of the Larian levies he is charged with keeping the peace and to enforce both Ducal and Crown laws.

 

- Court Chaplain -

The religious leader of the town. The chaplain is here to maintain the piety of Alsace and it’s citizens. He will routinely hold mass and advise both commoner and noble alike.
