Dark Shamanism

 

Summarize the Lore of this Magic:

 

Dark Shamanism allows one to affect the forces of nature via the control of their respected spirits. Much like regular Shamanism, Dark shamans require the power of a spirit to affect the world around them. However this process is done differently than normal Shamanism, a dark shaman through trickery or force gains the spirit’s name and in return forces it to perform their bidding. The art of flesh smithing is also apart of Dark shamanism, in which one can modify or add foreign body parts onto the victim.

 

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student:

 

Within a small torch lit room the two sat cross legged upon the stone flooring, each on opposite sides of each other. The apprentice sat with his eyes closed, he took in deep breaths in and out while humming quietly to himself.

 

After a moment of time the apprentice’s eyes burst open to gaze upon the Mali’aheral sat before them, with an exhale they spoke “My mind is clear.”

 

The Mali’aheral then gave a slight nod, his hand delved deep within the leather satchel at his side before withdrawing a greenish plant. His other hand repeated the action in order to take out a pipe. His hand outstretched, granting the apprentice with the given items.

 

The apprentice took ahold of the items with care in each hand, a look of confusion plastered across his visage. “What do I do with these?” He questioned with a brow raised.

 

“Now that your mind is clear, use what I have granted you. Focus upon the ebb and flow of the world around you. And in return we shall become one with the elements.” The Mali’aheral spoke as his eyes came to a close. “You must focus and find the sensation, gain a feel for it, and then try to take ahold of it until it fills your very being.”

 

The apprentice with hesitance simply gave a nod. After a moment he did as commanded, taking a long drag from the pipe before then laying himself upon his back with his eyes closed.

 

After many moments the two began to sit up, the world around them then started to shift. It turned upside down, rightside up, and ever in between before it settled. The two gazed upon the new world around them, the realm of the spirits.
