How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: From a friend named Matt, known on the server as, Baldwin Thomas Horen-Rothesay, son of Godfrey II, heir to the line of the Black Dragon and Most August Lord Protector of the Conquered Urguan.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of acting out a certain role in conformity with the factors of the environment resulting in realistic and expected behavior from the character in view of the context.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when a player makes use of knowledge that his character would not otherwise know.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is the act of forcing actions upon other characters when they can otherwise prevent the action with the role-play element their character possesses. Ex: *I slice you in half with one single strike from my sword* (This is powergaming because the other character could have possibly blocked it with his weapon, or simply dodged the attack.)

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Nytherio was raised on a farm in the outskirts of The Holy Oren Empire, ever since he was old enough to understand bed time stories his parents would tell him about the great land of Athera that they used to live in. His parents were wealthy merchants back there but when they moved to Vailor they were forced to start a farm when they couldn't find much work. All his life he spent all his time tending to the animals and crops. He found this life quite boring so he would often sneak out to nearby forests and hunt game there. While he was in the forest he often thought about the stories his parents told, how the descendants have been forced to move, time and time again. Within him was a desire to help but he didn't act upon it. He soon found himself bored with the company of the animals in the forest, he would often dream of seeing new things, and new people. So he decided he would leave his family, explore the world. The first place he found himself was the new Holy Oren Empire.

In this City he would make money by completing odd jobs for people including work for the House of Barbanov and Othaman. Some of those jobs would be questionable and considered dirty work most of the time consisting of collecting owed money from someone who didn't pay up. But as time passed he found less and less work.  At this point he barely got by with the money he collected from his jobs. Nytherio knew he would not be able to stay sane on the streets as a peasant for much longer. He knew he had to find new work if he didn’t want to continue sleeping in alleyways starving. That all changed when a man walking past the alleyway walked up to him and promptly handed him a print that was scattered around the city, reading “Enlist Today! Serve your fellow Humans and become a champion!” That is when he decided to join the one of the military organization that defended The Holy Oren Empire, and that is where his story begins.

Personality Traits: Cunning, Charismatic, Daring, and Confident

Ambitions: My characters ambitions are to make his name well known throughout the land, and redeem his people.

Strengths/Talents: People Skills, Persuasion, Speed, Archery, Stealth, Reconnaissance, Indirect Combat, and Espionage.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Direct Combat (Hand to Hand Combat)

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Nytherio has a defined, rough build, specifically, he has strong defined legs from running through forests hunting. His right arm is stronger and slightly bigger due to the constant drawing of the string of his bow while hunting. Nytherio weighs about 170 pounds, has a very dark brown hair, his eyes are gray, and he has rough facial hair. His main distinguishable feature is the headband he claims to be “lucky” that his father gave to him.
