In the snowdrifts of Gaul, in the shallow shores of Albion. In the scalding sands of Arabia Felix, in the foothills of Latium, there originates men and women who come to settle, to organize, and to expand. As these nations, these people expand, so to do their experiences. What is often written off as myth were experiences unlike those that define their mundane lives. The simorgh of the Zagros Mountains in Persia and the Tuatha de Denann in Ireland came to become significant in their unique qualities. All nations face these creatures or peoples and your civilization is no different.

 

This Forum Roleplay will be a nation-based roleplay with an interesting twist. Depending on what civilization you start with and what regions you conquer, you will face events and attacks from mythological figures. War with the Amazons on the island of Lesbos or consort with the dead of the Otherworld. The world will be a vastly different experience depending on who you choose and the difficulties will vary. The map spans from Iberia to Central Asia, expansion may occur in the future, but until then - enjoy your options. You may research a certain civilization or go with the cliche Rome or Carthage. We start in the period of Antiquity, consider the starting date to be 300 BCE.

Edit: I thought you meant creatures lol, honestly a lot of warring tribes and clans in Ireland. It was like that for a long time, especially during 300 BCE before any real form of advanced government came.

I've noticed some people post don't put where they are on the map, Others take MASSIVE CHUNKS.

 

Do we pick ONE spot on the map? Or an Area? you never really specified.

I just marked out where my nation's borders were at our starting date (300 BC). It's not like my claims are official, where nation borders start is up to Gaius.
