ELLOND: The Foreign Lands

 

    After the Soulburst, Molag Bal dragged part of Nirn through from Mundus into his own Daedric Realm, Coldharbour. While the civilizations form alliances, and fought back, those who had lost hope for Tamriel fled, escaping by land, and sea. Many would die at sea, but some lucky few would make it to an island, far from Tamriel and it’s troubles. However, they would not find immediate refuge. The land was already inhabited, by many creatures, both strange, and familiar. Stuck on this foreign island, surrounded by deadly sea currents they were lucky to pass once, they had no choice but to fight for the right to survive on this island. There was no going back.

    Across the island, people would begin to settle along the shores. Meanwhile, the natives would begin to prepare themselves, either to welcome the new settlers, or to push them from the home that they had long since inhabited. Meanwhile Wabbajack, back towards Tamriel, Molag Bal’s armies continue to gain ground, and drag Nirn further and further into Coldharbour.

    As the leaders of these settlements, whether Native, or Settler, it is your job to guide your people along a path. Whether that path is for peace, or for war, will be for you to decide. You and your people would need to build their homes, and their lives from what was around them, and hope they could survive.


 

GENERAL RULES

 

2 Tiles to start, Settlers within 4 tiles of the coast, “Natives” have free-reign for start location (Redguard, Orcs, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Imperials, Nords, Bretons, High Elves, Argonians, and Khajiit can not be natives)


 

Starting Population: 1,000

Military Population may not exceed 1/4th of population. (Exceptions MAY apply.)

 

Medieval Age

No Dwemer/ Daedric Races

5 Miles (from Edge to Edge) per Tile

Custom Races who wish for unique materials and items to their race/society must be confirmed through Mods, and require concept art.

 

MAGIC:

You will be given the option to take a magic or not. If you chose not to at the start you will be given something to balance it out. If you chose to take magic you will be given a Portion of a Magic School as a start. You may chose to turn down the offered school BUT you will not be given the same bonus to balance yourself with those that do so choose carefully

Brief Description of Race/History: Long ago, before the return of Ysgrammor, with his Five Hundred Companions, the Snow Elves began to expand. They sent ships in all directions, looking for new, unfamiliar lands to settle. A single ship, named the Snow’s Dawn landed, battered, on an island named Ellond. The Snow Elves, unable to send a ship back to Skyrim to report to their home, began to settle the unfamiliar lands. Many generations passed, and the Snow Elves forgot Skyrim, as well as the name Falmer. Taking the name of their new home, they forsook the name Falmer, and began to call themselves the Ellmer.

Race: Uramer, Burning Elves

Brief Description of Race/History:

The Uramer or Burning Elves developed around Mount Morne where its Volcanic pools below the ground have become there Forges. The Volcanic rock and other minerals over the years have produced a molten ore,Kovgam Ore, found only in the Lava pools on the surface that is harvested With the help of magic and large amount of shaped volcanic rock, this ore is filtered out of the Lava by means of Magic and physical cool as it cools at a much higher temperature to the other minerals in the lava (above water's boiling point) Making the most common method to be submerge the Ore rich Lava in water and break away most of the Cooled rock to find the Semi-Solidified Ore and setting it aside to finish cooling. The Lava rich ore has a green coloring distinguishing it from the rest of the pool.

 

Uramer Socially are ran by a council The Members consist of the Lead Smith, The Lead Mage, and the Three Lead Millitary Commanders and a Council Leader given the name Belikr and are the Leader of the faction when dealing with Others

Brief Description of Race/History: After fleeing from Tamreil, Rambob Ghasgol and his orcish horde set sail towards a new island to find a new home and place to prosper. Rambob's scouts he had sent ahead to discover a new island, had sent him a messenger bird caring the location of the new island. When he and the rest of the horde arrived he was pleased. He was ready for new lands to conquer.

Brief Description of Race/History:

Claudius Tiberius set his eyes upon his the island of Reulma. With his people firmly behind him, they planted their boots amongst the shore. He glanced towards a clearing in the tree line "We shall construct a new city that shall enshadow everything Tamriel ever had to offer us." It was then that the Reulmans began construction on their civilization. Within that city they established a Republic, with Claudius as their acting Emperor.

Brief Description of Race/History: The mountains of the south have always been inhabited by the Drow, a underground ancestor to the Falmer, or snow elves. With their Grand Prince, Azgrel Lem'ael, the kingdom is ferociously expanding in the southern mountains. Possessing fine miners, these people are expert cave diggers.

Brief Description of Race/History: A very very distant cousin of the Kharajitt, The Felician's were the product of a long ago relationship between a form of man and the Khajitt but were banished from the continent and wounded up here forming their own culture and life style, They have many fighting styles but mostly focusing in on the Magical arts and Defensive fighting styles. (They have magic school grounds, I can maybe talk with you guys about the magic stuff after skool)

Brief Description of Race/History: Coming from the now deserted land of Atmora, these Atmoran's did not follow Ysgamor. They I instead broke off from the main group and landed on this unknown island. They have been living here for

generations, and have been long forgotten.

All of the above except solacian72 and walrusgames

 

The Atmorians have to change map location, Also the Frozen lands are in the south this map is a piece of the whole thing more will be released later if we have an influx of people

 

walrusgames it says in the rules that none of the main races can be natives please change this or change race thank you

 

ALSO for future apps NO ONE else can start in the far northern peninsula there is too many of you

Thanks for letting me know. I will change my location to two tiles on the biggest mountain. It's hard to point it out as I'm on a tablet, so surprise me which two tiles you put it on. I will edit my post now.

Brief Description of Race/History: A Royal Family long held influence within the Empire of Cyrodiil, although many others dispised the Vigil house for their different views on how the Empire should be ran. During the Crisis of the Daedric Invasion of Tamriel the family attempted to gain support to rightfully take the throne, but as happens in history the change in government broke out into a violent civil war. The majority of Imperials turned against House Vigil. Outnumbered without enough support to gain the throne they attempted a final desperate act. A brave battle was fought on the coastline as Imperian soldiers faced off against Imperial Legions. The bulk of the Imperian Army and Navy was lost, though many had survived and were able to escape the Imperial Genocide. Now having discovered a new land, they seek to construct an Empire of their own. To remove the flaws and imperfections of the Cyrodiil Empire. Lord Tyro and his son were lost in battle against the Empire, so now Lord Tyro's young daughter Maeria is the only true heir to the family throne. The Shield Knights of Vigil follow her and protect her with undying loyalty, however she will need to win the hearts of her people and bring them together in a united vision for peace and prosperity, though...this New Land may require more then good intentions and well spoken diplomacy.

Brief Description of Race/History: Brutus is one of the many lesser nobles making up higher society in the Empire. Though the truth is that he was never born into the blue blood, he bought into it. Brutus is one of the most wealthy merchants in the Empire. Back before his departure, he had foretold the chaos to come. He had prepared, buying out before trade could wither. Creating a joint shares group, Brutus and other like minded merchants merge their funds. Ships are bought or built, and able sailors found to crew them. The majority of the fleet was slower transports. The goal was to bring as many as supplies as possible. An Empire official is bought into attaching an Imperial troop with the expedition. Many factions and powers rode with this joint venture. Ahead was an uncertain coast, but with rich chances.

Brief Description of Race/History: The Grey Blossom Holy Order was a flower both corrupted and plucked before it could prosper.

 

Patriarch Onoalo founded the Order to closely follow the guidance of Azura. He wanted to help bring light to a darkened lands of Morrowind. Once he had handled all of the final details of his older life, he eagerly set forth with close friends and new found followers. His Order prospered for nearly several decades. They had distributed bread to the weak and sick whose homes were roadside ditches, taught the teaching of Azura, and followed Azura's will. Their halls were many times silent as most of the day involved meditation and prayer. Sadly the silence would be broken by a senior member who had been a childhood friend of the Patriarch. Rassath was his name, one soon to be cursed forever, he had stumbled into the hall a large red welt on his head. He raved madly, a slight froth to his lips, about a small village resting on the border of Cyrodiil and Morrowind. How not only did they throw him from the taverns as he spread the humble grace of Azura, but a small Imperial Legion garrison captain had slammed his blade's hilt on the Dunmer's head. He made sure to skirt around the reason as to why, a reason still lost to the wind. Many upset Monks immediately leapt from their prayer rugs, and yelled in near unison for permission from the Patriarch to visit this village. Onoalo foolishly believed their promises of peace as they handed over any blades they carried for defense as part of their promise.

 

Accounts are still scattered as to what exactly happened the day the band of Monks arrived, but what is sure is that night Onoalo was graced with a vision in his dreams. A vision of blood, gore, screams, hellfire, and a saddening silence. A courier was at the door of the small temple by next dusk, the news he brought drained all color from Onoalo already sickly face. The news of the slaughter lead by the Holy Order's men who pledged they would never lift a hand upon the people in the village. Some say it was the Legion Captain's refusal to apologize, someone throwing a mug of ale, or even someone accidently tripped another. Yet what is for sure is the monks lifted their palms and spurted forth magic, magic used to slaughter indiscriminately. As the grinning band of men rode to the gate of the Temple, cheering and laughing at the 'retribution' they served, they were greeted by the wrath of Azura. The battle between brothers was a hard fought one both physically and mentally, yet as the moon rose to brighten the dark skies only Onoalo and his men's heads rested upon their shoulders. Onoalo ordered the farms reserved to be moved into the temple, and for the construction of an indoor greenhouse or farm. He barred all doors and windows of the Temple, ordering all of his men into exclusion and into vows of silence. Time was lost upon the Monks who prayed, meditated, and ate. It was not until small whispers leaking through what seemed like the Temple Walls warned of doom if they had stayed. The Monks packed the final parts of their food reserves and set forth on a silent Caravan through the streets of Morrowind. Bringing along as many Dunmer that were willing to follow. They organized themselves onto a fleet of ships, and rode the seas to a new land.
