"Ye 'ave a letter..."

The woman, clothed in a grey cloak, placed down her quill reached out with a hand encrusted in ferrum armour. The parchment was placed into her outstretched hand and she leaned back in the chair, nodding a thanks to the dwarf. The letter was unrolled and slowly, the person examined the contents while an elderly old dwarf stood by the table.

"...I see... so it finally happened..." The woman turned to him, her facial expression very relaxed despite what the letter said.

The old man nodded. "Aye. We both knew it would only be a matter o' time before this day comes... promises an' deals can be made but can be broken just like snappin' a twig. At least what was promised that day gave ye time... ter get ready."

With a sigh, the woman laid the letter down. "Yes...  I knew I still needed time to prepare myself, get plans ready, research and ensure the mistakes of the past would not be repeated again... I did not wish to leave them behind for this long but I just needed some time and I know they can manage without me."

"Yeh got what yeh were after an' found me ter help yeh," the dwarf adjusted his robes, rubbing his beard quite nervously. The woman watched the dwarf, he served as a good companion and close friend for the past two years, helping her with her research and so on. A grave and worried glint appeared within his stone grey eyes . "... yeh are aware that they will come fer yeh when yeh return, young one."

"And will  not stop till they have my head stuck on a pike, held high in the sky like a victory flag," The woman explained, pushing her chair back then rose up. Her blonde hair flowed down to her waist, tied into a low ponytail that was kept together by an aurum band.  Her single faded emerald eye focused on him, filled with calmness and patience, while the other was covered by a grey bandage. Heavy scars were threatening to emerge from behind the piece of fabric. Her face was worn and seemed calm and relaxed, although the faint signs of age catching to her were beginning to emerge.  "If they come for me, then so be it. I will fight them if they show to me they wish for my death. I pity their actions, however... I have come to understand the Dark and their views, even forged a way that would ensure moments like these are not brought up again. They should be thankful that a cleric understood their ideologies and humanity. I truly did hope to fix the errors of the past and keep at least some peace and order. Alas, it appears that they never seem to learn clearly..."

"...so I guess yeh headin' back then?"

"I have to. They need their leader to lead them through this and I will not be that leader who simply abandons them. I will return. Besides, I had been considering returning for a few days now."

"Yeh sound pretty confident in yerself."

"I am confident but I am also nervous as well. Who knows what will happen and I am afraid of what my own choices will bring to not just my order, but to the paladins, the Druids, the Ascended, and the Descendants," the woman adjusted her cloak before flickering some of her fringe away from her face. "However. I am not going to let them all stand alone in this and suffer, they will need all they can get."

The dwarf nodded. "Knowing yeh, the right choices will be made. Shall I get yeh horse ready while yeh pack? Tis gunna be a long journey fer yeh."

"That would be helpful... and yes, I am aware but the sooner I leave, the better. and the more time I have," With that said, the old dwarf hurried out of the room.

The woman made her way across the room and to the window where the sun was glowing brightly and the vast plains were spread out in front of her. She closed her eye and inhaled slowly. As soon as she exhaled, her eye opened with hints of determination in them. The current clerical leader crossed her arms, knowing that she will have many burdens and choices bared upon her shoulders. She had antipated that this day would come and she knew what had to be done. Plans and ideas formed around her mind, mixing in with the plans she had already planned out.

Then, she spoke a single line of words that echoed across the walls, although not a single reply returned an answer.

"...The Fire is coming..."

((Alright. So, due to having recently moved house and the house itself being blacklisted, myself and my family couldn't have internet until we get the house not blacklisted. Apparently the previous previous house owner got arrested for fraud and the house was blacklisted from having internet and so my family had to reapply to have the house whitelisted for Internet. I have been keeping up with LOTC via college computers and mobile internet...which eventually ran out. Today, my internet SHOULD be coming back but if not today, hopefully in the next day or two. Note: If I am still not back, Elvira isn't fully back so you can say she is currently in the process of returning, like she's just travelling back to the clerics. and is journeying through plains and forests. I pretty much decided to write this post to let you know of my situation and what Elvira has been up to, as well as replying to something that just came to my attention.))

((Also: How did I survive two weeks without internet? Simple: 3DS, story planning, continuously going outdoors, and getting a lot of naps and by a lot, I mean a lot.))
