In-Character Information

Character’s name: Leorin

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Wood-Elf

Character’s age: 97

Biography:

Leorin's family has lived among the forrest of  for hundreds of years, but alas, he has gotten sick of this age-old tradition of being, as he calls it, "bark-munching tree-lovers" and took his leave from the sacred forest his family has lived in for the longest of times at the age of 23. Leorin had left mainly because of the fact of how racist his family is towards the Dark-Elves and humans after the war-claims, which Leorin had befriended many of. Due to his family suffocating Leorin of how the Wood-Elves as a race should had never sided with Tristin Tresery, he had lived in a life of isolation of what goes on outside the forest, and Leorin had sought for knowledge of why Tristin Tresery was so hated by his family. For 50 odd-some years, Leorin had searched for the history of his people, the Elvish, but that was before he had met a fellow historian, a Dark-Elf by the name of Renna. Leorin had fallen for Renna after her sharing the findings of her studies. Leorin had settled down after a long journey of learning to spend time with Renna, his companion. After a few years, Leorin had awoken one night to find that Renna was no where in sight, and left without a trace. He searched the island for months for Renna, fearing for the worst, he had known that he would never see Renna again. He had then set off again to seek further companionship after a full year of mourning his loss. After years of traveling alone again, at the age of 78, he had found a caravan that had a decent amount of wealth with a friendly and charismatic  to tell his tales to. Sadly, the caravan's owner had passed on not a few years after, many of the crew leaving and taking their share. The caravan was left with remnants of what it once was, only the former owner's human apprentice, a dwarven guardsmen, and a mentally ill High-Elf, and a pathetic amount of wealth left behind. Leorin never did end up leaving the caravan because he had knew that this was his family now, and he should care for it. Leorin followed suit, and turned to a profession in thievery to keep the caravan stocked and moving as it once did before the death of the owner. He never does mention it, but he cares a lot for his caravan, and often steals to keep them fed, clothed, and warm. He has become more improper because of his time with the caravan, but he doesn't mind as long as he has a good time and people to share it with.

Personality Traits: He is decently spiteful, though not immature. He is cunning, and always has an opinion to share with his crew if something is looking awry. He always has a good story to tell about his few adventures, and is a decent fibber.

Ambitions: As he does thirst for knowledge, he thirst for peoples coin just as much. Though he prefers to be dubbed a "historian", he would gladly settle for the title "dashing rogue".

Strengths/Talents: He is good at borrowing things from people with no intent of giving it back . . . Unless they pay, of course. He is decent with a dagger, meaning he can hold his own against someone with his stature. He is good at talking to people, warming them up before he takes their goods.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He is very vulnerable to magics and strong targets with armor. He is small and is not very good at any other weapon besides his dagger. He would easily fall to a armored or magic-wielding enemy.

Appearance: His face is very flushed, hair covering his temples and ears. His cheek bones cave in, showing his skinny facial figure, and appearing somewhat easy to look at. He has squinty eyes like one of a bug. His hair is decently kept and styled, but a rat's nest of auburn strands, none the less. He stands 5'4, skinny and stick-like with a ragged wool coat over his ragged cloth shirt, pants, and leather boots.
