"As we all unfortunately know, our fair Pontiff has passed. GOD must choose his successor from among you holy men. He must attain the required majority Three of Five votes. We shall continue this endeavor until one of you can rise to claim the lost laurels of Horen, which our old friend wore with such dignity. Write your vote on a piece of parchment as provided and grant it to me. By the end, with GOD's help we will find his chosen Vicar."

Charles Francis Horen distributes his declaration of candidacy,

On this day, I, Charles Francis Horen, do declare my candidacy for this most Holy Office,

The Church of the Canon is the Mortal Ministry by which GOD's word is spread and held sacred for all of His children. Taking leadership of such an organization is not simply a position from which we direct priests and organize diocese. It is a position from which we administer the Faith on this planet, and we must steer from the secular bias and racial intolerance that have turned the Church into a mere tool for those faithless directives.

If I am elected to this most Holy office, I shall serve it with as much action and calculation as I have within my diocese, and even previous to my ordination as a Priest.

When I was Knighted a Holy Ser of the Black Sepulchre, I marched south, and assisted Nafis Yar in the removal of the heathenous leader, Faiz Kharadeen. My time in Vandoria as Lord Chancellor, and my time as Duke of Lorraine, proves that I have the capacity to administer the diplomatic affairs of the Church on both a small and a very large scale; such diplomacy being very core to the relationship of the Church to individual lords and monarchs.

However, I left Vandoria, and departed on a pilgrimage. For many years I walked the lands of the South, till finally I came upon Luciensport, where our late High Pontiff, Tobias I, ordained me as a Priest. Soon after, I was appointed to the Synod and made Archbishop of Metz, and Metropolitan of Felsen.

In my time as Metropolitan I have established a poorhouse, to both feed and house the poor, and recruited several new priests to the clergy. My constant preaching, masses, baptisms and confessions in Felsen, and several other places, have brought a new life to the faith in Felsen, and many praise GOD and attend mass with fervor, a fervor absent in many other cities or lordships.

I hope, if I am elected, to return to Luciensport and make the city itself great again. With my friends both in the Empire and Vandoria I will be able to open up dialogues between the Lords and myself, and find common ground where previous High Pontiffs could not. Most importantly, I will expunge corruption absolutely and totally from the Church, and allow no man who does not take up his duties to hold the offices that the most driven of the clergy deserve.

God bless Tobias I, may he rest in peace.

Boiendl Denims-Therving distributes his deceleration of candidacy

It is with most sorrow that I have learned of the passing of our late Pontiff, Tobias I, may he rest in peace. But in his honor, do I take up my candidacy for Holy Office.

My fellow clergymen, you may look upon me and laugh at my short time in the Church. But heed this, while the man who runs against me is brother to the Emperor, I myself am brother to the masses. I have never been and will never be a Prince or Knight, nor have I ever sworn myself to another man, only GOD and the Church. As the way it should be. It is the Church's duty to take up it's most holy mission to serve the people and to provide the flock with a meaningful task in life.

Though my time as Archbishop of Vandoria was brief, I managed to increase relations between the monarch and the Church before a most dreadful 'revoking of coronation' destroyed not only our relations, but our integrity.

Now, as Prince Bishop of Luciensport, I have pledged myself to returning life back to the city with organizations such as the Orenian Labor Guild. Luciensport shall serve as a land where the masses may flock, where they may become closer with GOD.

My fellow clergyman, a vote in my name would be a vote for  a man who has always held himself to the values of political neutrality and remaining out of secular affairs.

God Bless Tobias I, may he rest in peace.
