Basically since you can't stop autoage and reverse age. Sometime people though have reasons they do that though.

Example of a valid reason?

Well say, you don't want to autoage anymore because you play less and don't want your character aging without roleplay.

But for real you can't just slowdown time for your character, that's so dumb. Stick to the timeline of the server or weird stuff happens like meeting a child when you are 25 and seeing that child be fully grown while you are still 25. It doesn't make for the best RP.

So what you're saying is you want a forced timeline? I can understand but, I find the reasoning why it isn't a thing already is due people like to roleplay at their own pace. Some also don't have all day to roleplay.

if you want to RP the evolving effects of age play a dwarf

if you want to RP an immortal edge play an elf

if you want to RP an easily disposable character play a human

if you want great memes play and orc

If you aren't in a situation where you can play the only race that aggressively ages then don't, or don't get too attached to the character. The curses and blessings are what set the races apart and to disregard that is to simply throw the server lore out the window. If you don't want a character to age quickly try playing literally any race besides human. It's pretty dumb to play a character that doesn't age with the realm, events, other characters, etc.. and those characters won't be as in depth or have a sense of realism like the ones that do stick to the timeline.

Some people prefer Human lore over that of others, and would like to dive into that  rather than just dying due to the lack of time several people have to play. I myself have met people at a young age and was soon the same age, and I still act normal in RP with them. (Probably won't reply if you respond, I'm sleeping now).

Also, if we wish to speak curses, I'd say Orcs are the only ones that really follow them.

I also feel as if times can be short. You can spend several of our custom days just roleplaying with the same person or people. Each person regardless of race has a story to tell. Time becomes an annoyance to those who look for lengthy type stories and may only have a few hours a day, few times a week to do that roleplay. Or you can even say someone will a long time to play wants to have lengthy story but one conversation took about two real life hours, that's a bit of time in game. And that will always be the problem unless we go to a 1:1 ratio in terms of game time real life time(which if you were to, what time zone would it be based on and that really can't answered), which I don't think anyone wants because that would be too slow of a time period. People want to have a faster date progression. The unbalance is there but, that is what we're given to work with. You also seem to bash people who want to play humans but, at a slower pace. Let me start with this, most people who get into roleplay choose human as first race to do and this is because it is the easiest. They can say "Hey, I know how to be human! Let's start with that." Maybe the older player might play human at a faster rate or maybe the rate of time that is given on the server however again, due to time restriction they may slow down time in a sense so their character doesn't up and end but was apart of a what was an important story line to them. Sure, you can go child and grow up. Yet, the problem with that is that you autoage or maybe even fast forward aging because you want to be able to get on with your story line. You can only do sooo much as child before you start to get bored.

Why are people so opposed to naturally aging their humans? It would take 2 IRL years if you played a character from birth to death and they died of old age. Saying that you wouldn't have enough to to RP on the character before it dies is a lie.

In my opinion, autoage should be mandatory. You want a character you don't have to play often but that doesn't get that much closer to death every time you log in again? Play a ******* elf, dude. Edge isn't required.

I don't see why people are so against people wanting to be story heavy in which age doesn't come in play because that's what the server plugin wants. People also become attach to characters they don't want their character to die but, eventually it does happen because they will get bored of that story line. Should just leave people to do what they want with their character so long it doesn't go against server rules.

Because it breaks lore to have 150-year-old humans that look like 22-year-olds.

Not if that is what their personal character age should be and they left autoage on which messed up their age.
