What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when someone acts out as a certain character, most of the time it’s through a video game.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is looking at information given out into the chat. If your character is not actually near the person and they look at this information, it is considered metagaming.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: :a way of interacting with games or game-like systems. Usually with video games or board games.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.):

 

She was born in Felsen. Her father's name was Felix Dee and her mother’s name was Lisa Dee. Jay was born with two different color eyes. At first the family panicked and thought it was a sign of evil, eventually they took her to a doctor. The doctor had said it was just a birth defect and that they shouldn’t worry about it. Since then everyone has gotten used to her oddly colored eyes. The family lived in a small but fancy two story house. Jay made many friends in the neighborhood and was loved by all of the children’s parents. She was always honest and knew how to put a smile on someone's face. She will never forget the day when she was 6. Two men around the age of 24 broke into their house. They killed both her parents, stealing their valuables and abducted Jay. Jay was eventually sold into slavery. After being traumatized, she learned to not trust most people.  She was sold to a highlander named Issac Burner. Issac Burner was a cruel man with an evil grin. He had a hook on one hand. He wore fancy steampunk-like clothes every day. Jay served as a house slave along with two other people, Derick Jean and Molly Turner. Jay had learned to cook, clean, wash and hunt for her master. At the age of 15 all three of them conspired to kill Issac. They came up with the idea to poison his dinner. Although they killed Issac his overseer, Wilson Bukin chased after them. Guards were called over and the chase began. Jay quickly picked up a small hunting knife and a wooden shield and ran. She was separated from both Derick and Molly. She ran into the nearby woods. The guards stopped and decided to find the other two escapees. She ran deeper and deeper into the forest until she could no longer see their torches. She climbed up a tree and decided to wait till morning. After acquainting herself to the forest, she built a small shack in a tree. There she practiced hunting with a bow she had made.

 

Eventually she returned to civilization (at the age of 18). Since then the guards have completely forgotten about her. She eventually  met up with a 25 year old man named Peter Mahoy. He taught her the arts of stealing from food markets and pickpocketing the rich. Together they made a great team. They basked in the riches and ate plenty each night. One unfortunate day, Peter was caught stealing and was sentenced to death. Peter had a long record of stealing and assaults with others. During this time Jay was stealing from the markets and rich. When she returned to their little “home” she was unable to find him. Word quickly spread that Peter had been sentenced. After grieving over her newfound friend, she continued with her way of life, knowing there was no way she could save him. After learning to work alone she learned to be a great liar and learned to be crafty when in sticky situations. Eventually she was able to recover and has made great friends since then. Sometimes when she is alone in the dark, she hallucinates. She sees and hears people that actually aren’t there. When in that situation she can become extremely violent and or scared. She would most likely run or attack the “people” in front of her.

Felsen. They haven’t traveled anywhere, although they’d love to. They were born in (the day of the roleplays date -18 years ).

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Outgoing, funny, sarcastic. Can sometimes be shy and ignorant.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) She aspires to be a hero. She wants to help people live a long and meaningful life.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) She is extremely good at being a liar. She can wield a bow and small hunting knife.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) She can easily be manipulated with others emotions. She is short tempered. Hard to keep secrets. Steals too much.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Average height (slightly shorter than an average human). She has long dark brown braided hair. Wears two flowers on each side. She has two discolored eyes. One is red one is blue (birth defect). She has a small shield made out of wood to protect her from any large enemies.
