What is roleplaying?: Playing through a simulated, immersed set of actions with people. Or by yourself. Lots of dungeons and dragons have prepared me for this.

What is metagaming?: It's like google for information, but you don't have a browser. Using knowhow without actually attaining it in character. Outside of character to inside of character. Big no bueno.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: You force your will and results on someone else. They have no choice but to accept the results

Bio:

    A young peasant boy, born in the year of 1537 and raised on the outer farmlands of Felsen. His father and mother from a settlement over in Istria seeking better fortunes and a safer place to settle to, given the continuing aggression of the Orenian Empire with the dwarven fort of Rhewengrad.  He grew up in a poor family. Lived with a mother and father, and two elder sisters. Out of three children, he was a runt and the youngest. Since he's the only son, his father has given him the most of the family's responsibilities. His small stature makes some of the tasks difficult, so his sisters play a role as well. The entire family stays together through many hardships, one of which including the death of the eldest sister. One of the horses under their care bucked and hit her right in the head. She never recovered from the ensuing coma. Since then, he had to take up the slack of what she had done. Following this hardship came the fruition of and fall of the Empire of Vanderguan, far enough away where Jason didn't have to be too concerned of his future. This kept him focused.
    Many years, his runtlike figure had waned. Standing at approximately shorter than a horse, he is built wide, rather than tall. Being a peasant, he is lanky as well. Farming has brought his family many good harvests, and with time it has brought much joy to his young heart. The usual smith he goes to for his tools, brought much pride to the farm with quality and durable tools. Long days have made him appreciate these fine arts of work, and one day he too can make the finest tools and swords by hammer and forge. Hoping with that strong possibility that these smithing skills will be recognized and support the growth of Vandoria.

• Personality Traits: Hardy, stubborn. Short tempered. Attentive to quality and detail, however.
• Ambitions: To be the best smith in all the lands of Oren
• Strengths/Talents: Farming, knowhow of plants and treating injuries. Good with tools.
• Weaknesses/Inabilities: Being short makes reaching hard. A bit unknowing of the world, naive even.
• Appearance: Shaven, scraggy haired. Young, lanky. Slightly muscular, a bit of a quiet stance. Small scarring on hands due to many years of farming and tools.
