Definitions

 

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying refers to assuming a role that is different from the person you are in a real life. Through a sort of story telling style one becomes and builds their character. 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is allowing your character to know things that he or she would not know otherwise and then acting upon them For example knowing that I was going to be attacked before the surprise attack ensued and therefore prepared for it. Metagaming ruins rp, and makes the rp experience un-enjoyable. 

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power Emoting is doing things against another player without giving them the opportunity to respond for example saying that you killed them or robbed them without allowing them to put up a fight.

Biography : His Ancestors grew up in the kingdom of Renatus. However after the kingdom fell his ancestors were left without a home and became scattered across the land.  Unable to hold their own against the FarFolk in the wilderness Perkin’s ancestors fled to the city.  They settled nicely into an Urban lifestyle under the Holy Oregonian Empire and adapted to the Canon Faith. Perkins mother gave birth to him only to die in the process. He was raised solely by his father, Warwick in the  Duchy of Courland. His father went off to war to fight for his people in a great battle but died when Perkin was only thirteen. Perkin low on supplies and food fled the city in search of new oppurtunites. He landed upon the Duchy Lorraine. There he begged for food as an orphan and sold his fathers sword which had been passed down for generations along with other belongings. Hard pressed to find work because of bad economic times Perkin continued to beg on the streets. Because of his cheery personality  he received many a donations. Perkin because of his small stature found it hard to maintain a safe place to sleep at night under the threat of bandits and thugs. However one day while Perkin was begging he met a young man in a similar plight to his. He never stated what his real name was but he called himself the sparrow because he was said to fly when he jumped from roof top to roof top in the city. Sparrow told Perkin about how a life of stealing was much better then living in the streets and begging. However Perkin learned integrity and honesty from his father and refused to take part in the acts. Sparrow told stories of ancient and old history to Perkin; Stories about great wars against the undead and political strife within the human cities. Sparrow described great warriors and great kings and their brave deeds on the battlefield. Sparrow told Perkin that one day he would join the army and fight and so he did. However this would be the last time Perkin saw Sparrow and as a result when Perkin became of age he participated in his first war. Although not the most skilled swordsman he made it out alive narrowly missing arrows and dodging sword swings. The humans won the war and as a result Perkin retained a small amount of loot to start his new life and get himself onto his feet. Perkin vowed that he would never find himself on the streets again but also that he would uphold the values that his deceased father would have upheld. 

Personality Traits: Happy Go-Lucky, enjoys being around other humans, and is always looking have a good time. 

Ambitions: Aspires to provide for himself and settle down somewhere but also seeks to explore the world, meet new people and see new places. 

Strengths/Talents: Great at building and creating things, as well as navigating 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not a great fighter, clumsy with a sword and terrible with a bow 

Appearance: Perkin is on the shorter side at five and a half feet but makes up for his stature by having a booming voice and large face. He has a well defined jawline which is almost invisible due to his overbearing beard. His hair was a light brown in the winter but after much time in the sun and in the fields during harvest season  it has become a lighter color. He has deep blue eyes that attract the ladies, and gleam when he has is happy.

Firstly, your power-gaming definition is incorrect. I suggest you read the server-provided definition and put it into your own words. Remember, copy/pasting definitions is forbidden!

 

Secondly, I would request for you to expand on your biography. Add more length to it, perhaps describe an adventure your character went on, or what activities he did prior to his father's death. Make it bigger. As well, I suggest you add more LORE- which is basically server events, history, dates, people, places, etc. LORE can be found within the LoTC Wikipedia.
