A 'elder of ghouls'

  ------------ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------

* A small book sits on a desk, you take a glance at the pages, and what you see seems to entice you.

" Imagine a creature, bent from years of rotting death coming back to life. A misrepresented attempt of magical infusion going wrong. Alchemy's equivalent exchange most protruding disaster. A demon in the flesh, what many call the elders. "

" What are these elders of? By definition; ghouls, but in practice: death. "

" These creatures are torn by the figures of a cadaver's greed, their presentation assembled to be a well rotting ghoul, just enough to understand what they were, but not long enough to tell what they will become. The beast is held together by red strings of arcane energy, relics of their attempts at breaking past the barriers held against them. These beings still hold intelligence from their life. Yet they can not speak, only to emit loud, horrifying howls. The time of their death acts as the limit to their memory, only to remember everything that could be sought for in their lifetime. "

" These elders are seen to be tall, lilith shaped creatures beyond 8 or 9 feet. Their arms lanky, falling far past their small and crumbling torsos. The tips of these arms own a set of massive claws, piercing hardened nails that could shred through even the most dense and well made armoursmith's gifts. Their leg's length being almost two thirds of their height. Allowing them to run quicker then even the most well bred horses. They are a force not to be reckoned with. Elder creatures that have roamed the realm for millennia. Stories of their infusions run deep. Creating rifts of their owns, and following the populous as if a modern-day boogeyman. "

These are the elders.

Good job, reminds me of something you'd read in a monster manual for d&d.

Sklave cowers down in its grave as its rotting frame shakes violently from the heard news. It then swiftly moves to cover the tomb with a rock, not before losing an arm between the wall and barricade.

Creative Writing, not canon, not lore. ;)

I really like this post though.
