In the bustling headquarters of the Gold Corps, a heavy leather bound volume sits open on a table. A quill and a well of ink lay beside it. The book contains the logs of Gold Corps troops on the field in the contested warzone and the rest of the region.

Entry 1: Osgod Colborn

Solid first day, me and the rest of the Corps shipped onto Avar in force and rallied with the rest of Oren's forces. After a few small ranged engagements, Rick and I led our forces out on a flank, where we baited and harassed our opponents until a full charge from the rest of Oren.

We repeated this several times before completely routing the rebels and their auxiliaries. However, I took a heavy beating from one of their harbingers and was out for the count at the end of the fight. Hopefully, I'll heal up well.

((Gold Corps soldiers, feel free to post your experiences in the warzone as rp logs on this thread.

Entry 2: Jove Newhelm

Another day, this time out in the open. Scouting the rebels, we carried on grouping together, out in the cold harsh environment. Lining up to go and flank the enemy from the side. The heavy armor didn't keep me warm. I was hired, hungry. As we rushed towards them, I got hit in the arm and leg with an arrow, the pain was endless, whenever we pushed, they just returned fire and slowly retreaded.

This went on all night, we fought and returned, and pushed. It was hard work, yet alot of it paid off, until I got ganged up on, I was taken down by many men, suddenly everyone ran from me, I fell into darkness.

Entry 3: Petre Salomon

My first time fighting in some sort of battle. It was intense, trudging through snow, in full armour, with our swords drawn. Running back and forth, baiting and tracking the enemy. The experience was exhausting, and half-way through the event I was knocked out, a well shot arrow hit me and caused me to collapse off a bridge into deep waters, where my consciousness faded away. I later awoke on a distant shore with wounds and bruises, this won't be something I'll forget anytime soon.

Entry 4: Rick

Bah unlike most of the men there, this was not my first time fighting. I was leading the men in a flank, hit them hard from the sides. I was able to get a kill on some demon being, we ended up getting a lot of loot. The men did very well, i'd say i'm proud, but I ain't.

Entry 5

Grandmaster Petyr steps onto the boat with the Gold Corpsmen. He scratches his neck and notices red flakes under his fingernails. "Dried blood" he mutters as he scratches the rest away "At least not mine." A seagull shits on one of the soldiers as they load loot from the battle onto the ship. He can't help but crack a grin before Commander Rick comes to his side. His smile quickly vanishes.

"The men are all accounted for and ready to ship off m'lord" Rick says in his deadpan voice.

"Excellent, raise the sails" Petyr says in reply. Rick gives a salute before commanding the men to do so. "Creator" thinks Petyr "That man can make my skin crawl. Thank the Creator he with me. I'll send a prayer to my enemies who have to face him."

Entry 6: Osgod Colborn

The fighting was not so easy today, for the first few hours of engagements we exchanged heavy fire with a token force of Dreadlanders who picked off our force's stragglers until Oren was forced into a full retreat. Barely  made it out alive.

We returned with thrice the numbers and regained control of the designated capture points and repelled several more charges from their main force. I myself picked off two of their outriders with my bow, adding a finely made black ferrum blade to my personal stock.
