How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I was playing on another roleplay server until a friend of mine said he was going to play on LOTC. I sounded familiar so I decided to searrch it up, and here I am now.

What is roleplaying?: To portray a character that you can alter.
What is metagaming?: I can not really define metagaming so I will put an example, hopefully it will work just as well.  /me steals from Adam's house, then Adam instantly goes to his house.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: When you force something upon another playing. Powergaming: Stabs Richard, killing him.  Not-Powergaming?: attempts to stab Richard's stomach

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Llevyl Hlenaron 

Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 26

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) January 12, 1521. This was the year that Llevyl Hlenaron was born in. His parents were outcasts, hiding from everyone except their own kin. His parents, who he had never learned the name of, hid around Vivec, home of the Dark Elves. When Llevyl was 2, his parents were killed by an unknown source. Some suspected it had been an assassin or group of mercenaries, but the truth can never be found. Fortunately, Llevyl was found 2 days later by a Vivec citizen. The man picked up LLevyl and took him to his house. Llevyl had no problem with this, as he thought his parents were this man. 2 years later, LLevyl had heard the man talking about an 'assassination of a king' and how 'one of our people had done it'. Despite not knowing what any of this meant, Hlenaron was intrigued.

It was only when Llevyl was was 7 that he questioned Noruvur Lesley, the man who had raised him. Lesley told Llevyl all about himself, pretending to be his father. This marked the date that Llevyn Hlenaron became Llevyn  Lesley. Llevyn then asked Noruvur about the assassination he had talked about 3 years ago. His 'father' explained to him that Grand King Slippy Irongut had been assassinated by a Dark Elf. Again, Llevyl became interested in this. He asked Noruvur if he had any more stories. His

'dad' told him about the attack Kal'Akash and about Athera. After several hours, Llevyn went to sleep, dreaming about all of these stories.

10 years later, Llevyl Lesley became a journalist's assistant. The job payed decently and he enjoyed it. However, on the same day that he got this job, his guardian had died of old age. When LLevyl had entered the house and saw the man on a seat dead, he cried and lay on the bed all night, hoping that it was all a dream. He woke up to a dead Noruvur. As much as he wished it was all fake, there was no denying that it was real. About 5 years later, he met his future wife, Ferasi S'thhari, after become a full-time journalist. They got along well and eventually got married. However, after 3 years, he came home and found her dead. She died of a sickness that she was hiding. LLevyn mourned just as much as he did for Noruvur. He isolated himself from everyone else for 2 months. During those 2 months, LLevyn had learned how to control his emotions, teaching him how to not do dumb stuff, such as isolating himself. LLevyn still resides at Vivec, purchasing a house near Noruvur Lesley at the age of 26.
