Equinox 245 Share Posted May 29, 2016 A mysterious stranger adorned with a body length coat, mask, and peculiar cowboy-esque hat comes to you, holding a book with a small snake on the front of it. He hands it to you. ## A inscription, and a well drawn picture is with in the first few pages. The story goes as follows... ============ XVX ============ ============ XVX ============ A woman adorned with a dress and some pieces of her husbands armor ran through the darkness of the forest. Recently cutting off most of her hair to escape her past appearance. She was running from a whole civilizations worth of hunters. Quite literally known as: Artemis. These hunters trekked through the forests day and night to keep up with the woman. Old bounty hunters and new bounty hunters walked side by side adorned in cloaks, wielding blades and muskets all the way through. Whatever this woman had done could easily be considered the utmost taboo of their civilization. So her retreat was warranted. These hunters of Artemis walked in groups, and one group in particular: The Shipyard, strayed to chase a rogue change of direction from the rest. The woman had found a way of movement that was harder to trace, but yet these hunters trailed behind with haste. There was something peculiar about the Shipyard. They wandered with a massive creature that crushed the perception of many's realities of the possibilities of such creatures existing in the first place. A lumbering behemoth that rolled throughout the night. Adorned with a massive horn, and a muscles that could shatter the strongest of walls. With every step, it created a sound loud enough for the whole forest to become silent. Making it relatively easy for the hunters that roamed with it to find a new sound, like the woman. The woman continued to run until she found what was thought to be a boulder. Jumping over the small of the rock and down behind it. This was nearing the end. Her whole story was to end here or be tortured by the hunters that found her. She was no sword of morning, or glory of the grace, but she was the warrior wife to a even more legendary deceased husband. They never got along, and so she trained herself. She laid behind the boulder, listening to the slamming of the meek forest floor by the behemoth. The first sounds of mankind following behind it. The beast stopped, and the men began to look in directions of all sorts. She unsheathed her blade as a man strides towards the boulder she hid behind. Preparing herself for a final act. ============ XVX ============ Another story. Again, sorry for terrible grammar, and spelling.
