What is roleplaying?: The act of a particular role or person

What is metagaming?: Using outside knowledge, out of character, and acting like your character knows it in RP.

What is power-emoting: is an act of forcing ones actions on another character, usually without the other players permission and not giving the other character/characters a chance to do anything about the action. Almost like "God-Emoting". 

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Vexton, or Vex

Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 24

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Vexton is a wanderer, he wanders town to town, however he has no idea what he is looking for. He just feels like something missing, and he needs to find that missing abject or even person. His family has disappeared without a trace, most of his life he took care of himself. Vexton grew up around 1541 in the forests of Istria. Vexton heard many explosions from the arrows the dwarves used. Vexton has traveled from many places like the Duchy of Istria and Isles of Vailor. He does however have knowledge of the Orenian attacks on Dwarven forces, for he has experienced them first hand. Vexton does know his care taker when he was a small boy, but after years of searching for him, Vexton learned that he died from a plague that went around. Vexton usually never stayed in one place for long, so many of times he usually builds a small camp or cabin.  Vexton loves every land he visits, he always finds beauty in every land.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Vexton is very quiet and never talks to anyone. He keeps to himself a lot. Vexton has a fear of water, he prefers the vast and beautiful land. Vexton hates people who ask too many questions. He is very stubborn sometimes and can get angered pretty quickly. Vexton however loves to learn about others but not himself.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Vexton wants to be a teacher one day. However his quest to find his missing piece is blocking the way of his dream.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Vexton is really good at shooting a bow, surviving, and learning. However he is not brilliant at education, but he is very decent at it.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Vexton does have trust issues and anger issues. That's why he mostly sticks with himself

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Vexton is smaller than average humans, being a wood elf, so he is 5,8". He has black hair and deep brown eyes. He has a scar on his back, from falling from a cliff one time,  and his skin color is tan almost.

- 4'5 is particularly short, even for a wood elf. You're welcome to keep this height, but keep in mind they'd be something of a midget. Around 5'8 is more common.
