Kharak'Raguk stood upon the sickly land of taint he had spent years working upon. His Shamanic abilities had allowed him to cause a great deal of destruction and torment upon both the land, and the living. It was something he reveled in. An opportunity through which the Children of Krug could vent their Ancestor's insatiable anger.

 

The Rex looked upon the land, wheezing in a mild fatigue as he finished his usual ceremony. He has called upon the influence of Orgon to further corrupt the land of Vailor, edging ever closer to his goal. As he leant on his staff to recover, he looked out upon the landscape. The trees hunched in defeat as looming crimson enveloped the sky above him. He picked himself up, leaving in haste as the Tharb Nûtniin, or "Acid Rain" set in.

 

As he arrived on safe land, he glanced back toward the dying landscape with a lingering feeling. His work was incomplete. More needed to be done.

 

Several days later, a small parchment would be pinned to the notice board in San'Thraka.

 

 

It read as follows:

 

The Rex, Kharak'Raguk, has decided that it is time he took his first student of Witch Doctory.

 

Those that are interested should consult him on this position.

 

Only one candidate shall be chosen.

Gnarl trudges towards the notice board, before glancing down and taking note of the parchment. He'd raise back up and begin lumbering towards the Goi in search of a word with Kharak.

Zaf studies the small hunk of roughly formed parchment. Her crimson eyes searching each word with care before turning to plot a course away from the billboard & off into the arid wastelands.
