So basically, I've been trying to get into the server as it's a requirement for my application. However when I made the server, it says in the top right of it 'Spigot 1.9.4' I then tried to join the server: where in then tells me the server is outdated and I am 1.9.4? I am extremely confused and I need some help: I have never had this issue with a server before.

Can you provide a picture of the screen when it disconnects, if possible? There are applications that can be utilized for capturing your screen, such as Gyazo or Puush. It then gives you a URL to post.

Lol he hasn't even made an app.

I think that's because he needs to have logged in to have an accepted app completed properly..

Both of those imply your client is in a newer update than 1.9.4, but if it is as you say, this is incorrect, yeah? It's only supposed to display that red text on the server list when you have the incorrect version.

Ah, I seemed to have fixed it. I went onto the .minecraft folder and went into 'versions' where I saw that for some reason 1.9.4 was no longer in the folder. So I just reinstalled minecraft and updated the profile to 1.9.4 and it seemed to have worked.

Thanks for your time though!

Aha, that's odd. Yeah, I've run into similar problems when installing mods. I apologize I wasn't much help, but good luck with your application!
