Jonificus 2741 Share Posted August 25, 2016 I don't really dabble in the nexus professions, but I wonder, are these crate drops worth the grind and how do you come by them? And more importantly, how do you use them even?
AGP 3169 Share Posted August 25, 2016 Caskets are the only way to get some rare recipes and whatnot but 99% of the time they're utter crap. You just place them down to open them.
Jonificus 2741 Author Share Posted August 25, 2016 Well that's disappointing. The chance doesn't increase as you level up either?
_pr0fit 3084 Share Posted August 25, 2016 I don't know if you play counterstrike global offensive, but they are like CS:GO crates except you don't pay for a key to open them. You get them from most resource gathering professions, most often from fishing I think, and they have rare crafting recipes, ore blocks, animal eggs, profession tomes (XP in a book), enchantment books, but unfortunately most of them have gold nuggets or emeralds. You can get better items from caskets the more 'luck' you have, you get more or less luck depending on your race, and their was mention of making either an enchantment or potion that would increase your 'luck'. FORƎST 1312 Share Posted August 25, 2016 The difference being CSGO crates come predetermined with whats inside upon drop. What you get from a casket I think is randomly generated upon opening, cos either halflings or goblins are supposed to get better stuff more often
