The Arcane Gift is broken down into three different types of schools, each one specialized in it’s own feats of magic.

The School of Evocation

The School of Alteration

The School of Illusion

The School of Evocation

Evocation is one of the easier schools of magic to learn and master due to it’s nature of learning off elementals and learning how to conjour such elements in the void, though Arcanism and Conjuration don’t fit such a description, both being extremely complex over the simplicity of elements.

The school breaks down as the following:

Conjuration

Arcane Evocation

Air Evocation

Water Evocation

Earth Evocation

Fire Evocation

Lightning Evocation

Each one with it’s own respective element and standards to it, the elemental evocations are fit for those new to the arcane gift, and a great field to expand one's potential.

Lightning Evocation is the art of summoning the volatile elemental of lightning to one's command, slow to cast and hard hitting, this is a dangerous feat of voidal magic and is to be pursued with care.

Fire Evocation is the art of summoning the powerful flame, a pyromancer allowing the kindling of fire to spring forth in the void and wield the element to his or her command, this is a volatile magic, and is to be pursued with care.

Earth Evocation is the art of summoning the strong earth, a Geomancer studying the minerals around him to create such in the void and draw it forth into useful arts such as defensive walls or projectile rocks.

Water Evocation is the art of summoning the calming waters, such a mage studies the elegance of water and summons such from the void to do his or hers bidding, later in the studies one may turn such into dangerous ice.

Air Evocation is the art of summoning the illusive wind, the Auromancer spends years studying wind itself, being a harder one to master due to no visual cues for the element, one must learn the element from feeling, meditating in windy areas. One may call upon gusts of air to blow knights away, or other creative spells.

Arcane Evocation is the first ‘evocation’ of it’s kind, one of the oldest magics alive the Arcanist studies the element of pure voidal energies, allowing him or her to meld such energies to their command. Summoning such in the form of creative tools and defensive shields.

Conjuration is sometimes called ‘Life Evocation’, as the Conjurist learns how to summon creatures and life from the void itself to do his or her bidding. Being one of the slower paced magics to learn due to it’s intense studies of life, it’s fruits bear pure creativity.

The School of Alteration

The School of alteration is a long lived study of altering the world to the mages command, from lifting objects with the mind to changing the very world around us, Alteration proves to be one of the more challenging schools to learn.

The school breaks down as the following:

Transfiguration

Telekinesis

Voidal Translocation

Voidal Shifting

Voidal Shifting is the art of allowing the user to use the void as a door, blinking from their current position to the next desired position. Such an art takes many years to finite.

Voidal Translocation is the art of the mage opening a rift into the void, allowing them to store and retrieve items of their wish, though it may seem simple in definition this art has proven to be extremely complex.

Telekinesis is one of the more simpler alterations, being the art of lifting objects of the world around the mage with voidal magic. Training the art proves fruitful, allowing the caster to lift extremely heavy objects, deflect projectiles, and even turn objects into deadly projectiles.

Transfiguration is one of the more complex arts of Alteration. The art breaks down into three sub schools, Transmutation, Enchanting, and Warding. Transfiguration is, in simple terms, the ability to alter the world around us from the mundane to magic itself.

The School of Illusion

The school of Illusion is commonly referred as an underhanded school, being use for trickery and foolery. Such a school is a study of the mind, emotions, senses of others and how to alter reality to such.

This school breaks down as the following:

Mental Magic

Sensory Illusion

Sensory Illusion is the art of altering the sensors of the mind of others, allowing one to cast Illusionary feats unknown to those who are under the spell. From causing one to see something that isn't truly there to altering how something may look to the affected person, to even pushing emotions this art is used by many, some for trickery and others for show.

Mental Magic is the art of understanding the mind, and delving into such. Commonly considered an underhanded magic as it infringes the privacy of others, this art can allow its user to delve for memories in the mind to even causing personal mental illusions.

"...I've heard many things about arcane schools. Some of them are good, some aren't. Although, I was searching for a teacher of a particular arcane art; perhaps this school will be of some use." A young mali quietly mused, sitting within a manor; his tiny puxie dog merrily barking, as the elf coiled the poster into a small ball and laughed softly when tossing it away, for the puxie to fetch.

"Not too shabby. I might try to find this place. If my wondering mind doesn't stray too far." Fila comments. "Just hope this school doesn't attract too many young'uns with 'curious' ways."

"Fila, you realize it's not actual schools, right." Steven replies to the woman he just happened to be standing next to at that time.

A knight comes out of the wood works with a loaded crossbow, screaming. "NO. NOT ARCANE. OUT. OUT, SQUIRREL, OUT."

"What an interesting study. Perhaps it is time to display further worth of voidal arts." says a mischievous elf.

Suddenly the young mali would suddenly realize somthing.
