How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I was searching for roleplay Minecraft servers and came across yours on a website! :)

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is like an unscripted play, with no audience. You become a character, have a role and just go with it.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is sort of knowing things in advance, and using them for personal benefit.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power-emoting is taking someone's will, or forcing them to face the consequences.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) May Winters

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 23

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) May Winters, 23 years old, orphaned girl. Her family died in a house fire when she was just six. May was the only one rescued. She lived on the streets from then on. She was treated like a dog; fed scraps, taken on hunting trips, sprayed down before entering anyone's house (if they were kind enough to let her in). One day, she was told that she ought to get a job. So she became a jester performing in the streets. This got her very little money, so she decided to become a pickpocket, usually killing her victims after. She took on murder contracts for money. Her first kill was of an old man (not contracted). She was performing in her usual jester suit in the streets. This homeless man came up to May, asking for money. She smiled and led him to the forest just opposite the town. Then, May stopped, spun around (still smiling) and slashed at the man's throat. To May, the feeling of taken this innocent man's life was sensational.

She likes to cause chaos, so she adopted the new name of Mayhem to fit her original name. The deranged woman still lives on the streets.

NOTE: If this character is way too vicious, please let me know and I will change it. I have backups. 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) May is very independent. A sociopath, more like it. She's deranged, completely insane. Murderous. Cruel. Evil. Malicious. However, she does have a sense of humour, sometimes she can be a bit of a goofball. Very vulnerable and susceptible to manipulation.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) At times, she wishes she had her family back. Very rarely she wishes she was brought up normally, lived a normal life and had a normal, sane personality. But most of the time, she really just wants to cause chaos and mayhem, and possibly even wipe out a lot of people.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) May Winters (aka Mayhem) is good at lighting fires, killing people in a terrifying yet quick way and pickpocketing. And very, VERY athletic/flexible, can flip herself out of any situation.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Working with people. Not being so crazy, I guess.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Platinum blonde long hair, ocean blue eyes, very pale skin, very thin figure

Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.) I'll be using a range of different skins. In the beginning, she'll be dressing up as the average Medieval peasant, but after May becomes the psychopath she is, she'll wear much different clothing; dresses, singlets and that sort of thing.
