[!] A lone path reaching from St. Karlsburg to the high peaking mountains.

Intrigue fills Wargoth Zlazh'Lur to the brim as he is contacted to participate in a hunt, growing up he had hunted many things taking after both his mother and father. He scanned the coordinates left for him embarking across Tahn in search of the party awaiting him outside of St. Karlsburg. After hours of travel, he found himself with very little fatigue as he found the party of Hunters making small discussion and introductions to one another. A Hooded Elf  who sent courier birds to the others led them through the fields of the North hiking through the rocky terrain with the bounty scroll hanging loosely from his belt. As they reached the base of the mountainous area, light snow fall would drift from the sky with the winds pressing a chill breeze across the hunters' skins.

After assuming the Targoth position under Rex Drokon, Zlazh felt so caught up between the strategics and battles of the Coalition and Oren that he never had a moment to clear his head. As they climbed through the mountains he finally gained the time to keep his head free and alive through the hunt.  The cold of the high peaks whipped with great strength onto the hunters though their minds moved elsewhere as they seen a figure in the distance seemingly awaiting them. The Hooded Elf and the Man spoke with one another about a Giant Raven within the mountains while  the others stood aside making a small fire for warmth while they waited for them to end their discussion.

As the conversation between the two men finally came to a close, the Hunters departed to a new found location which the others overheard to be "the lair of the beast" itself.  After the long journey the extra length began to wear down Zlazh's legs
(though he wouldn't admit it) so he pulls himself atop Dash his Lur Wolf and speeds forward carefully scouting the landscape ahead. Not before long, they fell upon a small cave hidden within one of the peaks slowly approaching making sure to not awaken the beast if there had been one. The cave was cold and musty serving them the harsh reality of Freygoth and the lesser spirits as they descended down deeper into it. An eerie feeling fell over everyone as they drew closer to the lair a feeling that only those of the hunt could understand, a silence drifted between everyone and after a moment they realized it was the silence of something else.

It has woken.

[!] Hunters dragging themselves through the harsh and snowy mountain tops in search of their prey.

Dash howled at the end of the rocky tunnel signaling the movement she had detected while at the same time two brave hunters approached the lair with Zlazh following up right behind them. One of them stepped inside the lair and the other stayed a distance but they hesitated in their steps for a moment as their eyes grew wide. The Raven poked it's beak out into the cave as it beamed down the furthest man after slapping the closer man away with it's large wing slightly disorientating him.  It lurched forward aiming it's beak straight for the hunter's neck, he swung mightily but to no avail was pierced by the Raven. The Raven screeches as the hunter near it's wing clips it with his blade while Zlazh further angered the beast by trying to jabbed a spear at it.

The Raven turned it's head toward Zlazh the eyes glaring him down, it rustled it's body attempting to face him while he uses his spear to jab into the bird's eye. It finally gets in position and attacks nearly at the same time but suddenly a flame that the Hooded Elf evocated engulfs them interrupting the attacks altogether. Zlazh fell back roaring in pain as he tried to put the flame out until a large cape covered his body. When he glanced up he seen Eath'Lur hovering over his body while a great scent lingered behind them, due to the Raven's face roasting from the fire. The Raven stumbled backwards cawing at it's helpless attempt to put out the flames, the hunter near it's wing eviscerated the bird's neck as it fell back nearly finishing off the bird.

While Zlazh was lectured by Elder Eath about the hunt, he continued watching as one of the hunters that stayed back sprinted forward forward plowing his sword into the belly of the beast finishing it off completely. They all listened as the cawing was slowly drowned in blood proving that it had been slain. They each moved forward examining the large bird up close fascinated at Nature's anomaly. They all cheered falling into short conversation, until they remembered the fallen hunter near them quickly giving their grievances. Each of them has taken their piece of the bird for a trophy but for Eath and Zlazh they departed with the beak and some feathers. At the end of the cave, they stretched their muscles for the journey back, leaving their comrades with an echo in the cave "Gluzog Votar!"

Smiles as recalls the bounty, glancing to his wall, where the head of the beast was nailed. He sipped a glass of ale as he sat, remembering it once more.
