What is roleplaying?: The act of attempting to write out a character in real time in order to tell the story of a character using a myriad number of ways to do so. In the act of attempting to illustrate the character in real time the purpose of these actions is to engage in a wider audience by stringing along persons using interesting story mechanisms to channel your creativity with your own. The long term goal of these actions is to continue the sowing of character progression in a group, or one-on-one basis between one or more person. The end goal is to completely flesh out a character plot that spans an allotted time to fully realize a point for the characters existence, and settle plots, trek's, wars, and various other continuity shoring.

What is metagaming?: The act of using foreknowledge about canon that your character would not ordinarily be privy to having, or using to the advantage of your character. Using information learned out of character to inhibit another characters outcome in a personal plot. Using private information about a character to stage a trap at the behest of a person, group, or canon character. Using private information about a character in order to blackmail a group of people, person. Using private information that you have not earned or learned in character in order to make your character unbeatable.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: The act of pushing actions that are not reasonable, not thought out in terms of feasibility in the lore of the story on the server. The act of performing feats that are beyond the physical limits of the races on the server. The act of pushing an action on a player that is unreasonable, unjust, and unwanted by the player, or player. The act of performing an action that is absolute, cannot be avoided, and leaves an outcome that is offensive, or humiliating.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography   Prior to being born Schwarz had an elder sister in the Schlange family of Dark Elve's who were proficient miners in the mines of Magara'lin. meanwhile young Schwarz had a preference for Fishing as opposed to mining citing that he was claustrophobic when Mr. Schlange pressed his son to take up the mining business for the sake of the family business. Schwarz held his right hand up insisting he had already made a fair shilling at selling overgrown Salmon from the local water tables, and in the seas abroad as well. This angered his father and made the two alienated for a while. Meanwhile Schwarz's mother was seeking help inland for the terrible nightmares Schwarz's sister suffered on a nightly basis for the past year.

It will help you get started in incorporating Server Lore into your Biography such as certain places, wars or even significant events.

 

Please lengthen your Biography out to a longer length. I am looking for around the size of two paragraphs. As an idea incorporate some of the causes of your strengths or weaknesses in their with detail or branch off on more information about your character’s development to their current standpoint.
