What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Inter-species sexual romance in regards to animal-like creatures is prohibited. This is an inversion of the natural order and inherently degenerate and has no place on a server where people under 18 are interacting.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): All my questions were answered.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: A few friends have played here for at least a year, but they never managed to convince me to make an application.

Definitions

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is fleshing out a character's beliefs, desires, ideas and acting as if you were a character with those beliefs, desires and ideas, you are also limited (or enhanced) by the character's physical abilities.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is acting in a way that would be foreign to your in-game character; applying knowledge that is gained outside the game. In many ways it is the antithesis to roleplaying as it requires a temporary suspension of the role in order to apply the knowledge.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power-emoting is to emote with another player but to do so in a deterministic fashion. Power-emoting removes agency from the other player and forces the outcome that the 'emoter' wants. Power-emoting is irrational because it turns a multiplayer event into what is essentially a single-player interaction.

Biography: Born 88 years ago, Klosterdach spent much of his early childhood and teenage years as a novice in a far-off monastery for an esoteric religion. His commitment to the pursuit of divine knowledge caused him to rise quickly though the ranks of the monastery, but his disagreements with certain elements of the monastery's theistic doctrine as well as his obsession with numerology had him expelled from the monastery in his late 30s. Although his disagreements caused his expulsion, he considered it a blessing as it gave him the opportunity to travel to what is now the Federation of Sutica, who's Rimial Woods and taxless, "libertarian" society allowed him peace of mind while studying the religious and arcane texts of the realm. One of his only reasons for leaving the woods is to visit the Grand Library of Dragur where he can interact with the scholars and study the arcane artifacts held there.

Personality Traits: Decades of meditation have given Klosterdach a composed demeanor, years of choir chanting have lead to a low and soothing voice. Though not very opinionated, he is quick to defend his principles and his faith in his god. He holds few people in ill-contempt, believing that they have yet to make their way out of the cave and see the Light of Truth.

Ambitions: To be knowledgeable. He views the Truth as an absolute and desires to know the eternal, unchanging laws by which the world is governed.

Strengths/Talents: It could be said without exaggeration that he has the patience of a saint. He is as well-read as he is old (relative to human age) and carries the knowledge gained from thousands of tomes.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Klosterdach is old and not physically strong.

Appearance: What hair he does have is grey and white and on his face, opting to keep the hood of his old monastery's habit draped over his head. His robes are purple and gold and hide the form of his physical body. His eyes are a dark brown and always focused.
