     Chen-Yù, a rather simple Hei-Zhu, was scouring through the jungle near the Hou-Zi village of Shan Cun for some food when he heard the nearby flora being trampled underfoot. He scampered off quickly to hide behind a tree that was adequate to hide his hulking figure. From behind the tree he saw a hound scamper through where he previously was and towards the village, but this was no wild beast, rather it was the hunting dog of the former hunting dog of the Tóumù. Chen-Yù's heart leaped, Tóumù Xīn'Fènnù had gone exploring eight years ago with a pack of other Hei-Zhu and never returned. Chen raced through the path the hound had cleared in the foliage, hoping to find the lost leader and his kinsmen making their way home behind the animal. He galloped through the jungle on all fours for miles and miles, his hope declining the farther he ran. Eventually the moon lingered above the Hei-Zhu who was crouched over and out of breath, his fellow Hou-Zi would be wondering where he was. He stood and scanned the area around him one last time and he found nothing. He nodded at the realization that his Tóumù was gone so the Hei-Zhu would need to move on. 

 

     As Chen came back to the village he called for the villagers of Shan Cun to gather in the center of the village he would proclaim that Tóumù Xīn'Fènnù and his men were gone, their dogs had left them behind and so should they. Many of the Hei-Zhu looked around trying to gauge each others reactions, for it was unspoken that if somebody were to take up the role of Tóumù and Xīn'Fènnù returned they would be slaughtered. Xīn'Fènnù was a wise and powerful leader who demanded loyalty from the Hei-Zhu by force. He and his allies had all but disappeared now. With the new realization that Xīn'Fènnù was gone the Hei-Zhu would need to find a new Tóumù  and deal with an unbalanced Míngzhì de lǎo, the group of people who would keep the ancient Hei-Zhu culture, which was now left with only two members as the former Tóumù's allies had vanished with him.

 

A new age has begun to dawn for the Hei-Zhu people and with it comes great potential for the remaining Hei-Zhu to handle.

((This is how we will kick start the Hei-Zhu culture and introduce it fully into RP. We're still encouraging other people to apply as Hou-Zi and Hei-Zhu to participate in all of the RP that is going to be coming soon. I'd like to thank @KBR and @Slothtastic for keeping everything cool with the group as the flavor-of-the-monthers have left the Hou-Zi and I look forward to some good RP from this story line.
