What is roleplaying?: I always thought roleplaying was very similar to "acting". Like in theaters, you have a character and you need to play as it. Same here, you need to play like your character, you have to act like him.

What is metagaming?:  Metagaming is using In Game information in OOC or vice versa. (For example, you are the general of an army and they tell you in "Discord" (OOC) that they are going to ambush from the mountain you have behind. Once you know this information, you order your troops to prepare to shoot arrows to the mountain.) <---- This would be MG.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is forcing someone to do an action. (For example, **Kursion takes a katana and charges against the enemy, cutting his hand and dropping his sword to the floor**) <---- This would be PG.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography:

He was born in 1586, in Aleksandria. His father is Aleksander Keint, a royal guard of the Kingdom of Courland and defender of the king Tobias, his mother, Elisabeth, works at the tailoring. They use to live in the outdoors of the cities and Aleksander taught Corvus in the art of fight. Corvus always wanted to be like his father but Aleksander no. Aleksander wanted Corvus to work in the goverment, he wanted Corvus to be an important person but Corvus one day replied: "I don't mind if I'm not important, I don't mind If a tragedy happens, I don't mind If I work as a priest. I just want you to be proud of me."
Aleksander smiled. But he didn't know what I wanted to do and he asked "So...?".

 

"I wanna be like you! I mean, better than you! I want to be command king's armies to victory! I feel I can do it" replied the son. Aleksander started laughing in front of him until he realised this was a serious thing. After noticing the serious face of Corvus he said "Well. If that's what you want... If you wanna be a fighter, I will help you. But promise me one thing, you will be important. I want the other guards to be jealous of me." he said while laughing. "Yes, dad! I promise you! People will remember me!".

 

Time passed and every day that stays behind is a day of work and training. Corvus trained really hard. Sometimes he didn't go to school cause he wanted to train, once again. He realised that school was important so he went to school until he was 12. After that year, his father taught him every thing he knew about war and fighting. "War isn't just about fighting" toll him. Aleksander always thought that the best way to win a war is to kill the heart of the enemy. "Like a bear, you kill him when you reach it's heart. If you hit him in the skin, you can't kill him."

 

Corvus became more and more wise in the art of wise. His father decided to test him. He prepared a bag with some food, water, a short axe and a fur-made quilt. "If you can prove that you are a man, you will be prepared to be a soldier. Come back when you feel a man". Corvus took the bag, and started his journey, across Courland. Who knows what adventures await this young man?

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)  Every morning when he wakes up he give his first step with his right foot. He's a bit superstitious. He train everyday, usually at night. Once a month, he spend a day sleeping in the forest/wild. He feel connected to the nature aswell the humans. He never forgets. If someone is loyal or friendly to him, he will respect him/her. If a person become friend of Corvus, he will now have a loyal and eternal friend. Corvus would die for his friends.  He thinks that every man should have 3 values: Kindness, loyalty and honor (Of course, he has those values).

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Corvus aspires to do great things. He dreams to belong to the nobility and commanding an army to the victory. When death comes, only a few people are remembered throughout history, Corvus wants to be one of them. He really does not care about money, but about power.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He is learning to become a great fighter and he train every day. His best quality is its agility. He is patient and philosophical. When doing an important thing, he puts lot of effort in it.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) All related to agriculture. He is weak and he can not carry large swords or heavy weapons.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He has a medium height and weight. His hair is light-brown but he has some blonde tufts. He usually wear formal clothes, because he likes to take care of his image and some other leather clothes. His eyes are green like grass.
