Character’s name: Welk Haeln

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): Hailing from a small village just outside of the kingdom of haense, Welk attempts to make a decent living as an inventor and cartographer. Selling trinkets where he can and maps where he can't, Welk makes an almost passable living. He enjoys every minute of it. Though life can get tough, welk grits his teeth and bears through it. Although, he does wish at times that if all of this "pain" business was going to continue, it might at least hurry up with it. Just rude, really. Working Welk all up like that.

 

Anyway, As Welk travels from town to town in his quest for jobs and bread that isn't made of concrete and sandpaper, he stumbles upon a forest. Well, I say stumble. I really mean trip and fall. Off a cliff. Into a tree. Welk is not observant.  As he falls, he tells himself this. It goes in one thought and out the other ear. This is quite startling for Welk, and as the thought flaps off, he- Ooph. Never mind. He's not doing anything soon. That impact looked like it hurt.

 

Why not some more backstory, then? Right! So, Welk left hometown due to an overwhelmingly oppressive Lucianism cult in his small village. It wasn't that he was being oppressed, it was that the next village over burned his village down for 'sacrilege.' As he ran away, a rather painful arrow rudely catches a ride in Welk's spleen. Quite painful. Some random archer in the forest looking to pick off any runners. Died a day later of alcohol poisoning, after the celebration. Anyway, back to Welk. Welk's spleen, to be more specific. Welk, being the fashion barista that he is, wears a belt over his belly. Quite the deflector of arrows. I lied. It's not really that effective. Bent right into Welk's belly button. Quite painful. Lots of bleeding. Many a tear shed. After a quick faint, fooling the archer into thinking Welk was dead, (Rather more due to the screaming than the fainting,) Welk awoke and promptly fell off a cliff. Waking up a few hours later, Welk walks into the forest, ready anything that comes his way. Other than arrows. Those are a bit sharp.
