Therefore I will be posting them on Grims behalf because its commentary and fuel for RP that we believe should be out there.] *A man spreads a series of pieces throughout different nations.* The Aspects - ? The False ? When a druid comes to their initial connection, their mind is filled with the guise of the Mother and the Father. All beings that have been taught to those who wish to follow the guidance of nature. Though, do these visions alter themselves depending on what the man is taught? Will those who have been taught about the Shadow, see her embrace upon the connection to their form. Will those who have been taught not any Aspects, see the Mother and Father bestow their totem to their soul. What is the attunement of a druid is not the Aspects reaching you, what if they are indeed. False. The Aspects are beings that have not transcended time, there are no recollections by the Wandering Wizard of the deific battles of the ‘Aspects’. They were brought into life through a ‘vision’, or perhaps a self-fabrication of man to justify the gifts that were bestowed to them from nature. The gifts of the druid are not false, they are real, tangible. Yet those who watch over the balance take no active role in anything, perhaps they are just figureheads which man has connected those of the druid to relate their passions to. For the people of Malin have fabricated this culture of the worshipping of the Aspects, yet nothing bountiful happens, nothing real is bestowed upon them. For culture is a fabrication of man, it has no right being part of the druid’s chosen path. What if the Aspects are simply man’s way of rationalising the gifts that have been bestowed to the druid. One cannot believe that anything exists without a ‘force’ protecting it. All except the void, the ever ending shroud. Though perhaps nature itself takes properties of the void, it holds no moral code, it holds no restrictions. It is free. The Aspects are a creation which force this idea upon those who walk upon the trail, those who surrender their livelihoods for the benefit of the druids. The Aspects do not intervene, they do not cause anything to happen. All of the secrets of the druid are held within, there is nothing additional that is granted. For we are all creations of nature itself, therefore we can utilise the gifts that nature has bestowed upon man. For we are the gift, for the gift is us. Cernunnos and Cerridwen are beings of ‘might’ that have been illustrated and connected to certain paths of the drui’. The Mother brings about fertility, life, birth. Yet the Father influences that of the hunt, death and the cycle itself. Even the whispers of the third, who sought to reclaim the walls of man and tear them down, to burn the bridges between nature and man and unite them once again. What if it is all, a lie. If one would believe that the Aspects are false, but their powers still remain, unrestricted. It would mean that nature itself is in charge of this pact, this blessing upon you. One does not have to follow the grovelling of the Soul Mystics, or the suicidal zealotry of Xan’s lions. They are, free. As free as the users of the void themselves. They are not burdened by anything, but themselves. Their emotions, their teachings. You are a conduit of nature, you do not adhere to any rules that man and their cultures have forced down upon you. The trees grow and the grasses tangle themselves betwixt your toes. The only true Aspect of the druid, is the druid themselves. They can reach, this idea of the Aspects. We represent everything that the cycle represents. Death, life, rebirth, chaos, pain. Man is closer to nature than many think, do not stray from the primal instincts of yourself. In your gifts or demeanors. Nature can be controlled, much like a man itself. It can be angered, it can be tortured, it can kill. Reflect on the teachings of self, strike away the idea of the Mother, the Father and the shadow. Meditate and reflect, on who truly controls you. Yourself The Jackal, The False Druid Abandon all love, Abandon all hope Druids of these days are looked on for being weak, beings that obsess themselves with the feelings of friendship and love. Of warmth and care. As seen through the incursions of the undeath as of recent, the deals of previous Archdrui’ which have welcomed beings of disgust in their arms. Harboring criminals, meddling in affairs that the druid has no true obligation to fulfill. The ideology of the druid has grown, soft. Their minds able to be sculpted like fresh clay. All matters now affect the druid in their eyes, every being is important. But, every being is not. To befoul the gifts of nature is a crime that many commit, many that continue to do so even atop of the behemoth that idles around the coasts of Axios itself. The druids can be manipulated, they can twisted, deformed as man can. The drui’ must not be able to fall for such horrific gestures of deception. If a druid is corrupted, nature itself in turn is corrupted. Those of man succumb to the emotions which drive them, though not into a state of utility. It instead drives them into a mess, into a confused being. Godsmen even fall for the same vice, those who follow the Lion, the Soul mistress, even the Pure. How can a druid combat this? How can one abandon their affliction of falling to the pain of betrayal, deceit? There is one cure, one way to overcome emotions. You must cause them in yourself and break all signs of weakness. That of betrayal must be felt and committed. Hatred must flow through the veins of yourself and must be caused in another. Love must be felt, then taken away with the force that shall shatter you completely. The greatest way to combat emotional torture, is to subjugate oneself to it willingly. What this may mean will bring attention to my writings. To point out flaws between my hatred of emotions clouding judgement, why would you experience them if they are bad? A druid is a vessel for the guardianship of nature, nothing more. Once those voices enter your head after the blessed vision that sweeps over you, in the cold waters of the gateway to nature’s true bounty. Once that pact has been made between soul and flesh, you are not only yourself. You endanger more than yourself, or your friends and family. You become part of nature itself, you cannot fail it. So, the radical thought shall be proposed. If a druid wishes to transcend beyond others, they must force themselves or others to experience all emotions that tear apart mortal men. Love must be extinguished, hatred must be fueled. Wives and children of the druid, must be maimed for the druid themselves to reflect on their position in the world. Lovers must be torn asunder, enemies must be successful against them. Druids can hasten this cycle, a way of preparing their brothers for the True Hunt, it comes in time. Moons shall cycle, many will fall when nature reclaims its bounty. Once a druid experiences these, or even subjugates others to the horrors that man could never face. Nature can be manipulated in that very way. One can impose hatred into the plant, one can impose death into grass. Emotions are not only felt by man, everything in this world harbors emotion. Man is the only being that can be destroyed by emotion, do not allow this to become true of the druids. Destroy yourselves, then rebuild The Jackal, The False Druid Challenge the Balance. Balance, this is something that is vital in the idea of common druid philosophy. The forces of life and death constantly hang on a scale, balanced. Every action is permitted and has a consequence, no matter what. The idea of not intervening having the origins of not ‘breaking the balance.’ Growing things to restore the balance that has been outweighed by man, there are many of situations that the druids use this to justify their actions. The balance. Though, the balance is something that is altered and never the same. Every interpretation of it leads to some sort of twisted, convoluted definition that each druid holds onto with their dear life. For when I was in life, this was seen with the High Elves and their ideal of purity, a political power used by the Sohaer to ensure that the population adhered to their standards. The ‘purity’ of Uradir quite different to the Izalith’s interpretation, every leader moulding it to fit their purpose. This is what the balance has now become, a pawn used by the current druids to justify their actions, nothing more, nothing less. If the balance was ‘truly’ regulated, then the purpose of the druid would extend further than nature. Peacekeeping and interference in conflicts would be essential, because every battle, every confrontation strains upon nature’s resources and scars the land with blood and ash. Nature does not ever work on the idea of balance, it is instead a cycle which is ever constant. The balance of life and death is something that has been interpreted to grow to the stagnancy of those who are blessed with these gifts. For every death, a life must be given, for every forest cut down, another is regrown. This does not happen, not even in a scale of broadness. The balance does not exist, for nature does not adhere to such principles. Things such as ‘honor’ and ‘justice’, creations of man are things that can be balanced. These are things that man can regulate, for these are forces that lay within man. Man cannot alter nature’s cycle, man cannot uphold a ‘balance’. So, if there is no balance, why do druids do anything? Druids are tasked as protectors of nature, they are not to keep balance and normalcy. They are there as zealots who uphold nature’s foothold in the lands of man. They ensure that nature does not fade away into obscurity, is not destroyed by the influence of the ever-growing abyss or by man itself. Nature cannot be destroyed, and the druids ensure as such. The purpose of a druid is different depending on each person who has been granted the gift. Though, in general. A druid must uphold the will of nature and ensure that man does not overcome it any further. The radical thought, that many may reject. That man is infact a plague upon nature, it restricts it and deprives it of its power. Though, I do not wish to have readers call upon such claims with distaste, this is to simply inform others that the notion of the balance is indeed false. The purpose and selection of druids is something that I may also contend, but for once it does not attack the circle of the mother. They do use techniques to filter out those who wish to follow the path, albeit their selections may be flawed, they ultimately are unaligned with anything but themselves. The Naelurir follow the structure of the claim of the ‘balance’. Fabricated to justify the means of people. Those of the Hawk’s kin undergo trials, yet they are selected based on actions with their society. Within the constructs of man. For they are chosen through the worth of those to the Archdruid themselves. Soldiers of cruelty and potential lovers are granted the gifts by the society of the ‘ame. For druids should not hold any affiliation with nation, or man, their very existence contradicts the way of the druid. To protect the banner of people is something that a druid should not do, to protect a city. For walls restrict nature, they choke upon the freedom that it grants, forcing it into the qualms of man and revoking its status. Early in my crazed state of madness, I openly challenged the Hawk, the latter proceedings did not bode well with many, including myself. When one is torn from life for protecting the druid and forced into a life of submission, it affects one in strange ways. Yet, this permanent state of undeath I now live in allow me to reflect upon my actions, to reflect upon everything I have seen in life and now death. I went about exposing the Naelurir wrongly, I challenged the very nation-state it protected. For now I shall write and simply mention the system that is used. It may not cause change, or it may. This is simply what I write to occupy the endless amount of time I now face. If the Naelurir wish to follow the true path of druidism, they will reflect and realise that protecting their people goes against their very gifts. Man is not a priority when blessed by nature, they are a second thought. Yet if one is too weak to understand such contrasts, perhaps they must seek solitude in the silence, their gifts removed. Lovers and potential harem-women of the Hawk must not keep the gift that plagues them. They must simply relinquish the fact, or be under the guidance of man itself, not nature. There are only few absolutes in the idea of druidism, the rest are up to interpretation. This is simply mine, a dedicant who spent alot of time observing the insolence of the druids. A druid who was reluctantly attuned, and who fell protecting the grove from the undeath threat. Now a husk of my former self, but wiser, knowing of the true consequences the gift has. Break the false ideas, once again druids, challenge your own viewpoints. One must reflect, meditate and act on their true purpose. The druids cannot be sheep, they must be unique and more than men. The Jackal, The False Druid. The Shroud - The Ever Consuming Abyss The Canvas, what the druid are once they have went upon the task of self-reflection, blank and awaiting their own true course. Though, it is what defines a druid and allows them to find their path, to understand their true choosing. Druidism is a blessing which does not make you ‘special’, it does not make you able to abuse nature itself. What druidism truly does is tap into the innate wisdom of man itself, it lifts the shroud which covers the eyes of the ignorant. This shroud, is something that is not lifted immediately. Many druids do not reach this level of enlightenment in their many years of life, because it requires a full abandonment of ones own morals. The void is an all consuming, all destructive being which those who lift their shroud peer into with ease, compared to those who follow the whims of the deific beings. They understand the true cycle, they understand their purpose and why mankind does not matter in any regard. The shroud reveals the secrets of the world once lifted, it shows those who are truly dedicated of what actions matter, and what actions do not. In the endless cycle and struggle to those who take part in it. Human emotion and connection disturbs the shroud, it strengthens its veiling of the true knowledge that one may understand once they reach their true potential. Once a druid has lifted their shroud, then they are able to reform into a being of nature itself. Perhaps, even a guardian of its endless, eternal cycle. For the druids who congregate in numbers, dilute their passions, they weaken their aims to accommodate more than themselves. Nature is not caring, nature is not wanting to have everyone ‘be together’. Individuality is essential, strength in numbers only matters when the individuals inside them are weak. If that is the case, then there is no point of living. One must be their own self and not rely upon others for their cause, for their purpose. Now, I shall speak on the violent, vicious vice that grasps upon the realms of every land that man has stood upon. The Void, the all consuming darkness, it is the opposite of life and death. It is an entity separate from everything natural, for it is the creation of anti-life itself. Death is not anti-life, for death leaves remnants of its path, a trace of its journey. Yet the void only consumes, it only devours all that wish to succumb to its gifts. Through choice, or forcefully. If nature shall survive, then the connection between man and void must continue to be severed ever further. When man combines with the void itself, in its truest form. Then I believe, the world shall start the clock of its destruction. Nature cannot stop the ever-consuming Abyss. Those of the undeath are a twisted amalgamation of the void and life, which must also be hunted. Though, the undeath do not pose a threat in the ascension of man-void-kind. For they are limited, bound, they are beings that have inevitably been brought into the cycle of nature ever since the Betrayer’s spawn roamed the lands of the shield. The next step in becoming a druid of knowledge, is to peer into the darkness that is the void itself. Learn of it, understand the unfathomable horrors that it holds. Man and Nature are not what shall destroy all life, but it is the void itself. Reflect upon such knowledge, those who read these journals. The Season of the Hunt has not began, though it draws closer. The Jackal, The False Druid.
WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted July 8, 2017 The druids are men, elves and dwarves. Why do you think that is? Why would the Aspects bestow their power upon the very creatures who are the root of all imbalances in the wild? For a simple reason. Although forgotten by many, the original purpose of the druid was simple- to be the balance between the world of mortals and the world of nature. We are the bridge between civilization and the wild. Between men and beasts. We are the great peace-makers. When the expansion of men, elves and dwarves puts the forests at risk, when the great caverns and lakes of this world are beset upon by the corruption of arcanists and necrotics, it is us who prevent these things. We druids exist to fulfill a special purpose, to protect the world of nature from being swallowed up by the world of men. We are the agents on the inside. We must know the world of men to do this. Be part of it. That's why the Aspects chose us, descendants, to fulfill their duty. We are not like other animals. We never will be. Men, Elves and Dwarves will always stand apart from the raw wild. Druids must be the bridge between worlds. They cannot believe the fallacy that they must abandon one for the other, for that would be akin to abandoning their duty. This is the mandate of my priesthood. My people, the wood elves, are a species and like any other species we have our instinct. To build homes, to protect our sons and daughters, to live and survive in this world like any other. Our presence, like the presence of mali'ker, mali'aheral, valah and dwedmar, is permanent and unavoidable. I am doing my part to make my people live in such a way that balance is achieved between our civilization and the wild. Perhaps other druids can begin doing the same, instead of partaking in delusions of an idealistic world of primal chaos.

Celticwolf1990 118 Share Posted July 8, 2017 Valdro studied the pamphlet he'd found, his brows furrowed. After a time, he neatly folded the paper and slid it into his pocket without so much as a word. He'd muse over what he had just learned for the rest of the day.
