A Ducal Abdication.

13th of The Deep Cold 1619.

 

This letter is addressed to the court of Stephen of House Barbanov, King of Hanseti and Ruska.

 

I, Viktor of House Kovachev, do so step down from my position as regent Duke of Carnatia. To succeed myself and rule as my successor, I hereby declare Sergei III, rightful heir to the Duchy of Carnatia and patriarch of House Kovachev. It is my earnest hope that he will retain our position as loyal vassals and bannermen of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and the Holy Orenian Empire. May his reign be long and glorious.
