A Most Grievous Encroachment

_________________________________________________________________

On this day, the 15th of Malin’s Welcome, the year 1612, I, Acastus Thill’leh did so state my intent on challenging the currently unattended position of Sohaer.

However, my challenge was met with swift denial. This denial comes not as a surprise or unexpectedly, but is rather, quite welcomed. The response I was issued highlighted the ‘The Ikur'onn Sohaer System.’ which, as can be seen by the wording, is an attempt by government to maintain and monopolize power within this nation.

Long missed are the days when our venerated and blessed council was not riddled with lethargy and laggards. It is at the behest of this Council that our city lies empty, fractured and void of the will of Larihei.

Long missed are the days of our sacred democracy, when those leading were elected by the people, for the people.

It is thus, that I request an open, emergency meeting of the council so that they may explain their apparent lack of interest and complete neglect of elcihi and its denizens and how our democracy has transformed into an authoritative democracy.

Acastus Thil’leh

“If the council - anyone even - wishes to inhabit progress, then let it be their undoing. They should be wise and vote to abolish the Ikur’onn laws."

Andria Ith’ael remarks to another of her kind in the inn, after reading the missive.

"But, like, three people live in Haelunor," commented the elfess known as Jeska in the privacy of an iceberg.
