Character’s name: Fyresdal the Northman

Character’s age: 27

Biography: Fyresdal was sired far from Axios, in the frostbitten lands far to frozen edges of the world. His father was a marauder, the profession of his fathers, and was slain on the fifteenth summer of Fyresdal's life freebooting the shores of a faraway kingdom. On his first raid, Fyresdal stumbled from the shores and set about with his fellows, only to drop his sword when an arrow pierced his hand and pain drove him to his knees. A second blow, this time by a blade against his helm, drove him face first into the soft soil. Still unproven, with no slain warriors to his name, Fyresdal's companions fled with their loot and counted him among the dead. His youth spared him from the hangman, but his crimes demanded punishment. A five year stretch in the salt mines turned his body to iron, and when he went free he signed with a company of mercenaries intent on making their fortunes in the wars of the land. He found his calling in the ancient profession of soldier for hire, and earned his bread with iron and blood. When the dwarf Khazakar Goldhand approached him, offering him gold in exchange for serving his ambitions, Fyresdal followed him on his return to lands of the Kingdom of Urguan. With his axe in hand, and fire in his eyes, Fyresdal took a oath before the gods to earn his ancestors glory.

Personality Traits:  Fyresdal is curt and is preferential to monosyllabic communication. Finding restfulness in in the still solitude of virgin wilds, and the opposite without, his eyes cast about searching for deliverance away from his beloved sanctuary. A faded scar running from either side of his palm causes him to continually flex his hand into a fist, chasing away the dull pain of the old wound.

Ambitions: To bring glory and honor to my ancestors.

Strengths/Talents: Competent fighter, amateur scrimshander.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Fear of failure, claustrophobic, and in possession of a short temper.

Appearance:  Tall with pale skin, nearly bordering on sickly in appearance, with strong muscles. Braided blonde hair and a trimmed beard, with blue tired and dark eyes. The scar on his hand is his only normally visible wound. Beyond that he is unremarkable in appearance.

Skin: Provided, working on one less generic and more in line with appearance.
