Grand Marshal

Belegar Ireheart - Sir_Niccum

“The Grand Marshal” is the leader of the military. The Grand Marshal’s primary purpose is to raise a military force to protect the dwarven people against aggressive nations and forces of a similar nature. The Grand Marshal reports directly to the Grand King and may employ specialised “squads” for the betterment of the nation. To employ these squads, the Grand Marshal must bring this issue before the King and define the parameters of said squad. To officialize the creation of the new squad, its leader must sign the Legion Pact. It is the duty of the Grand Marshal to train his guard force as well as the squads, to not do so would be a severe breach of our Kingdom’s safety. The Grand Marshal may employ a pair of Commanders to occupy any aforementioned duties.

Grand Merchant

Azaghal Doomforged - Bloodnight

The Grand Merchant oversees the economy. They are responsible for maintaining a positive balance in the Dwarven Kingdom and also ensuring that the population pays their taxes, if implemented. The Grand Merchant is in direct control of all land agreements and settlements within the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, second to none but the King himself. The Grand Merchant is charged with the keeping the Grand Kingdom’s vault which includes performing tasks such as ensuring the stockpile is stored, organised, and secure. The stockpile is for general use by the Kingdom and for trade with other nations. The vault is for storage of the wealth of our nation, which should seldom be taken from. It is the duty of the Grand Merchant to visit frequently with our allies and other states of interest to conduct trade agreements of resources in need. It is also the duty of the Grand Merchant to define the pricing of all kingdom goods, services of the kingdom, homes, mining permits, and wages, taxes and tariffs if implemented.

Yemekar’s Pick [Director of Resources]

The Yemekar’s Pick, another sub-position of the Grand Merchant, regulates the mines, subterranean farms, and small lumber yards of the Kingdom and controls its workforce. The Yemekar’s Pick regularly checks the mines’ structural integrity to combat the threat of collapse (usually brought about by faulty wooden supports, shaft mining, etc.). The Yemekar’s Pick is also responsible for informing the Grand King of the working conditions of the dwarves and how the common folk are faring. He also leads new dwarves to the city and assigns them jobs within the Grand Kingdom. This Council member is in charge of making sure that raw materials are brought to the stockpile, and that valuables are given to the Grand Merchant for storage in the vault.

Grand Ambassador

Aldal Ireheart - Soggy365

“The Grand Ambassador” is an accredited diplomat, sent by the Grand King, as the official representative of the dwarven kingdom. The King may send the Grand Ambassador to negotiate trade, peace, alliances, declaration of war, etc. This dwarf must be very well versed in the policies of our Kingdom long before he comes into this position. The councillor will be visiting and talking with various groups of peoples, from large Kingdoms to lonely homesteads.
