What is Roleplaying?: For me it means, acting as a character that was created or really exist in the world , enjoy being the character you imagine and follow the character's characterise. As an example, if i play on a pirate roleplay server, i should act like the pirate i create and follow the role of a pirate (you know, killing, scamming, sailing and bla bla bla) 

 

What is Metagaming?:Hmm kinda hard to explain.. well. Is like your friend is offline in the server and suddenly you saw someone attack his house, then you use other method OUTSIDE the game or roleplay to tell him about this. You friend should not know that happen before he enter the role playing again. Which mean when you are not in the role play you use real life knowledge to get the information of your character life and heavily disturb the game! Argh, that is really bad.. ya... this just destroy the fun part of the role playing :( sad.

 

 

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: It was like, letting your character too powerful and causing the game or a fight become not BALANCE. Doing something that cause the other character not be able to response. Example: Player A use his attack and slash Player B into 2 part. This is powergaming, player B don't even have any way to dodge it and just defeated directly.. Player A's character may not be able to do this actually. He should change it to: Player A trying to slash Player B with his sword, the sword slicing through the air with a great power toward player B. In this condition, player B has the chance to prevent instant dying by: Player B notice the attack and dodge the powerful slash.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

"Buruka, a young snow elves, he was born in the snow elves kingdom. He is an orphanage, his family abandon him when he was born... But he is the lucky one... seem like he was always very lucky and protected by the god. 

40 years before...

Morgan a 230 years old snow elves was walking around his house he stopped when he heard the crying of a baby from the under of an old tree nearby.

"This couldn't be real... a baby.. his hair is red colour? is he really a snow elves?"

Skin white in colour, a pair of green eyes, snowflakes flying around him. He is snow elves, no doubt about it.

"Poor little guy, would you like to come with me?" The baby laughs happily and stop crying. The eyes are shining in green light

"This kid, wont be easy..."

The kid grow peacefully, living with the old man until the year he was 18 years old. Evil dwarf attack their village. The old man was die when he is protecting the kid. The kid cry in the pain, power unleash from his body and kill all the dwarf nearby.Nobody in the village survive the raid, buruka leaving the village and on his way to find a master that can teach him magic and tell him how to use his hidden power. He is going to find out his parent 

He pass through the forest leaving the snowy kingdom and on the way to find the true power

He likes to wear mask or something that can cover his hair colour, he likes to call other elder people "senpai"(master), he likes ocelot a lot as he had a pet cat before, does not have a home live at anyplace even on a tree sometime, favourite fruit is grape, like to eat fish, love to create snowman when he is boring, scared of grasshopper due to its colour is green (eww)

 

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?): Always want to be a teacher that is powerful and be able to protect important things.

 

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?): Hard working, good on making trap, assassinate, combat, shooting, parkour

Hello there!

Your application is currently on pending due to a few errors that need fixing.

The errors you need to fix are listed down below and you have 24 hours to fix said errors.

 

- Biography: Your biography needs to refer to one or more piece of LotC lore (such as city names, etc), as well as needs more depth to it to explain how your character gained certain skills and so forth.

 

- Snowflakes cannot surround your character, nor can your character start off with magic or a hidden power as all new characters cannot use magic from the moment they enter the server. You must learn magic in the exact same manner as all other players - find a magic teacher in-game and learn from them. Additionally, snow elves are weak when it comes to magic, but instead focus more on physical.

 

- Personality: What you wrote does not explain your character's personality fully but just lists down what he likes and doesn't like. It needs to be a paragraph explaining both the positive and negative personality traits of your character (such as if he's a kind person but has a short temper, etc).

- I also advise not having your character call eldery people 'senpai' as it may make your character come across as edgy.

 

- Strengths: Where did your character learn these skills as you did not explain such in your character's biography? Please explain such, or have your character's skills be changed into something more fitting for a peaceful village backstory.

- Furthermore, I suggest you add mental and emotional strengths aside from just physical strengths. Such as if he can keep calm during some situations, able to improvise on the spot, lie out of situations, etc.

 

- Weaknesses: I advise you have at least three or more weaknesses to balance out your character instead of having just one weakness. (Just like strengths, try going for the physical, mental, and emotional weaknesses -such as if he's short-tempered or clumsy on his feet, or struggles to socialise, etc).

 

- Appearance: Your character is a Snow Elf and cannot have red hair. You must have either white, light blonde, or faint brown hair. Furthermore, your eye colour will indicate your character has mixed blood (from a high elf or another race) as full blooded Snow Elves only can have white-silver, blue, or purple hair. Furthermore (as stated above) Snow Elves are weak when it comes to using magic, therefore your character will more than likely have to focus on physical means than magic.

 

- Skin - The skin you wish to use is too commonly used amongst new players and I advise you make a unique skin for your character. If you need a skin, myself or any skin makers on the server are happy to make a new skin for you.
