THE REGENCY ACT

of 1643

Issued by His Majesty King Otto II and

Confirmed by His Highness Crown Prince Otto III

Denizens of the realm, with great inhibition I am unable to discharge the duties as your king due to the many ailments and deficiencies of my health. With great trust, I place the leadership of my government in the hands of my eldest son, Otto III Stephen. Therefore, I, Otto II, do hereby declare Crown Prince Otto III as Lord Regent of the Kingdom in my stead. He shall be granted all rights, privileges, and authority in place as King of Hanseti-Ruska. In these presence, I so hereby define the following provisions:

 

  • The authority over the Royal Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska

  • The power to dispense all justice and maintain the King’s Peace necessary and proper

  • The authority to appoint and dismiss all officials and officers to the Offices of State and the Royal Army

  • All executive decisions and legislation be placed under the Lord Regent’s discretion

  • The authority to represent the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska as Head of State

 

These provisions are and not limited to be allotted to the Lord Regent effective immediately. Furthermore, pursuant to the benefit of the kingdom, I duly yield the regency of the realm that it be vested to him without delay.
