Chorale__ 2147 Share Posted March 1, 2018 [!] Véres placed a sturdy box down in the town square and stepped up, beckoning forth the Citizens of the City of Cyrilsburg. As they came, he'd clear his throat and reach into his surcoat, only to expose a rolled up piece of parchment that had been neatly wrapped with a red ribbon. He'd untie the ribbon and roll out the scroll. He began to read it off. "Citizens, we have far gone without a head of the Municipal government, here in our graceful Principality of Curon. Within this City, stalls have collected dust, as have the tax boxes. This is the effect of the lack of active Stewards and a formal set-in-stone management. Following my election, I shall promise that the tavern not run dry, that the stalls shall be swept off and sold one-by-one, that taxes will gain an extensive overhaul, and that banks be headed with a clerk. Events will be held often, and Stewards will be appointed. The City will flourish as I would mend my thoughts and ideas with that of the Chancellors. So, Citizens of Cyrilsburg - I conclude with this, if you were to appoint me your Mayor, then the City would flourish once like no other one that this realm has seen before." - as he finished, he stepped down from the box and rolled the parchment back up, having already printed it on posters and stapled them across the City, and across many other points of the realm. He waved to all of those gathered and trotted off to his manor.
Legoboy7984 3155 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Sylvestre would nod. "I agree with many of these things but where were you at the beginning?." he'd pause. "We need someone who will stay for the people."
