The Otto III DOCTRINE

Issued and Confirmed by His Majesty the King Otto III

The Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, The 8th of the Sun’s Smile, 1651

 

 

Va Birodeo Herzenav.

 

Let it be made to God and Man, that by investiture of divine right, I, Otto, King of Hanseti and Ruska affirm the free and indissoluble authority to pledge all power and authority to the protection and defense of humanity in the southern sphere of Atlas. Wherein threats lay, godless entities lurk, and where unjust men reside, we the Highlander nation, pursuant to the lives of our ancestors and saints alike, declare that the regions of Southern Atlas shall not be subject to the vices of Iblees and his agents of equally ungodly nature nor to men of questionable and malicious intent. Moreover, we pledge our cause to be the bulwark against all threats to our land made by both man and supernatural alike.

 

In the course of recent events, it has become pertinent to justify our cause in this enactment. Spontaneous threats such as dragons pose great dangers to the safety and security of our citizens. Banditry along our roads continues to perpetuate fear to which we will not tolerate. Our policy shall henceforth be proclaimed in these presence:

 

We decree it, therefore, to candor and to the friendly relations existing between the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and those polities to declare that we should consider any attempt on their part to impose their jurisdiction to any portion of this southern region as dangerous to our peace and safety. No man nor beast shall subjugate the lands of our heritage.

 

I, Otto, King of the Highlanders, do hereby vow to intercede on behalf of these lands to which we call our home, enforcing the law of God and that of our own consciences to use any means, be it diplomatic or military force to protect the bark of our people in the stormy seas of the vile. Let this be a cause for all those who seek to defend against the threats that lay before us. We implore all men and women to defend against these wicked snares under our Royal banner. We solemnly profess from this day onward that any provocation made by entities who seek to disrupt the order and peace of these lands shall be met with force as God wills.
