LETTER OF ASCENSION, 1662

Issued and Confirmed by His Royal Majesty, Aurelius of the House of Horen, 11th of Snow’s Maiden, 1662

TO OUR BELOVED SUBJECTS

Let it be known, that with this missive, the Right Honourable, Lord Eimar var Burgundar, Count of Gotha and Baron of Geatea, has successfully accomplished the military assignment bequeathed by the His Royal Highness, Antonious of the House of Horen, Grand Marshal of the Crown of Renatus-Marna. Lord Eimar von Burgundar’s efforts against the previously damned state of Curon has resulted in their successful vassalisation, wherein he had captured one Linette of Curon, and charged her duly for her crimes against the Northern Atlas Alliance, and the Crown of Renatus-Marna.

We, the Crown of Renatus-Marna, both the Privy Council and Royal Family do extend our gratitude and appreciation toward the House of Burgundar, more specifically, Lord Eimar var Burgundar, and do therefore extend the lands of Cyrilsburg for his usage; we do rightfully bequeath the land upon the House of Burgundar. For his loyalty and service to the Crown shall not go unnoticed especially not unrewarded. Long may he reign, long may he prosper, and long may the House of Burgundar be successful under such a pious man’s fist. For he carries the wrath of the Crown of Renatus-Marna against those who oppose us, and politically defy us.

IN NOMINE DEI,

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, Aurelius I of the House of Horen, King of Renatus, Marna, Mardon, Salvus, Seventis, Savoy, and Hanseti, Duke of the Crownlands, Cascadia, Avar, and Frederica, Count of Sennisten, Alamar, Frederica, Thesmer, Thelen, Lorath, and Cantal, Baron of Darkwood, Gravelhold, Fidei Defensor, Protector of the Heartlanders, etcetera

John Sarkozic would hold the announcement that just arrived from the capital with the most recent llama caravan. He would wipe some grime off the notice and open it to peruse its content. After absorbing the meaning based on recent events and being at the capture of Curon, he would note to himself the competency of this Count of Gotha. Lord Eimar was definitely a power player in the realm and deserved this respect for his action against the traitors. Let it be known to any others who wished to cross Aurelius that those who are loyal to him can produce results against conspirators. It was also John's hope that Cyrilsburg would be torn down, the city being quite ugly to look at. If not town down, at least closed as to funnel more men and resources into the rest of the Kingdom of Renatus-Marna.
