TO ALL LOYAL SUBJECTS OF THE IMPERIAL CROWN,

 

Trade and commerce are the very lifeline through which wealth and prosperity flow within a nation. In essence, the routes by which trade flows are the veins and arteries, connected to the living heart of the Empire, the capital of Renatus. From there, Imperial influence sprawls to the outlying settlements and to foreign realms afar and abroad. These routes serve to ferry good and resources in and out. As such, this is why the existing roads must be maintained and new, more efficient routes be constructed. Due to the nature of His Imperial Majesty controlling vast swaths of land - some of these territories are distanced from the throne by a large margin geographically. It is of utmost importance that loyal servants of the Imperial Crown remain ever connected to one another and the Imperial City itself. With that in regard, a new roadway shall be constructed - headed by the Andrei Kovachev and Son. Building Corporation - beginning immediately. Aforementioned road will provide a direct route from the Cloud Temple to the Imperial City of Carolustadt. The path will run through the lands of the northern marches of the Ardennes and Styria, governed by the houses of d’Amaury and Ivanovich respectively. Travelers from the outermost reaches are guaranteed safe passage as His Imperial Majesty’s State Army will be charged with patrolling and defending the roads. Let this usher in a new period of  peace and prosperity within the Empire.
