if people were denied the ability to join combat role-play scenarios after a certain amount of time had passed from when they first started. An example of this being two opposing soldiers getting in a role-play fight and after 10 IRL minutes pass from when they first emoted, no one who shows up after being allowed to join the combat.

Ioannis – Make it so in settlements this rule doesn’t apply for the guards/citizens.

Temp – Make it emote based instead of time based.

Based on the two responses what would be your proposed rule definition? Such as

Quote

Players may join mid-Combat Roleplay under the following conditions

  • Less than 10 minutes have passed
  • Less than X emotes have occurred

Where X are the numbers of emotes.

Maintain turn order. If Player 1 and player 2 have engaged in combat and anyone supporting either side is not actively in the area at the time of combat, they may not arrive to assist either side for X turns / emotes from both sides. Personally, I’m thinking 2 emotes inside a city or settlement and 5 on the roads / in the wild.

If PvP has been agreed upon prior to the arrival of assistance, the spectating party may not partake in the active PvP.
