MAIREL ELECTION OF PESSAC

With the near completion of the Barony of Pessac, Louis II has deemed it fit to call upon the First Mairel Election of Pessac, the Maire shall carry out all of the Prince’s duties in municipal matters, such as ensuring housing is up to date and suitable for living conditions, additionally it is the Maire’s duty to ensure the defence of the city, it’s security and crime is kept off the streets, in order to ensure this, a branch of the Grand Armee shall be formed dubbing itself the Pessac Police Force (PPF), thus the Maire shall gain full control of this branch. The Maire shall be granted the decision of whether or not to elect a small council to assist him in running the City of Pessac.

 

A Maire is able to serve for 4 years (4 IRL Weeks), until another election is to be called, however the Maire is eligible to run for more then just 4 years, as when the election is called the Maire will be allowed to run for yet another term, if being elected he shall serve for another 4 years, until another election can be called. The Intendant shall determine the times of these elections.

 

In order to be eligible to run for Maire, you must at least be the age of 25, and have lived within the Principality for a minimum of eight years.

 

To be eligible to vote, you must be at least 16 years of age.

 

The self nomination process will begin on the date signed upon this document, and end in three Rosnian days from that time. The Voting process begins immediately and will close in 6 Rosnian days from the publishing of this document.

 

Side Note: The Candidates shall be determined within these following days, send letter to the High Prince (Respond to Post).
