Before you lay the pikes fallen, the crucifictions lacking in crucified, and overall a mess.

 

Where were you?

 

     The place where the Imperials had decided to strew up this mess originally; you were at Antonious Road. Etched in stone pedestals were names such as Gurukk, Thoak, and a Rurik yet nothing be strewn with it to show; blood be splattered around yet no body to accompany it.

 

To investigate is where I’d hope you go . . .

 

     As one would look around they may see hoof-prints. Following these and one would reach a Glade, a Glade which would have Scorched earth and the stench of Death. That, and some scorched bones, were all that presumably were left of the bodies.

 

Though if you’d continue . . .

 

     The tracks head in a direction again for a destination unknown; for looking for the end would be impossible, a feat that a Lur may not even be able to accomplish. For this was a journey that took days and nights, with weathering being a great effect on this trail.

 

Yet, your curiosity may grab hold of you . . .

 

     Perhaps one would think up a story-- perhaps they be right; they’d think that the one who made off with the trio of corpses made for a proper resting place for each. Taking the False Crown of one, though, and keeping it for himself. Perhaps the one who took the bodies was the same as his father: he was to hold a momento to be reminded of a memory, whether good or bad.

 

Though all this would not matter for…

 

Life continues on.
