Second City Council Meeting of Ves

 

11th of Harren’s Folley, 1708

The honorable freeholders, patricians, tavern lords, and Adrian companies met today to discuss the law. This meeting was primarily called to ensure that a stable city clerk could be appointed, as the previous clerk became ill and succumbed to insanity. Though such was not the only problem addressed during this meeting of the powers of Ves.

 

Proposals Passed by the Right Honourable Council of Ves,

 

• Arsene removed from the position of City Clerk, the council appointed Nedric to replace him

 

• Planning for a gallows to be built in the public domain to ensure the moral of the duchy

 

• The military budget of the Great City of Ves was increased from 20% to 30%
