Lotha requires her ear back

A series of flyers and letters are sent out, mostly around dwarven settlements, dropped by birds and such. 

 

“Lotha requires her ear to be returned to her. It’s purplish grey, big stupid and floppy, with some jewelry on it. Three dwarves decided to chop it off for some reason, hopefully it hasn’t been eaten yet. If someone has this ear, it is a left ear, please return it to Lotha Scylla. Send a letter for contact and arrangement. Lotha is willing to pay some mina or do silly dares in exchange. Please return it to Lotha, thanks.”

A rather disturbed mage reads such a flyer whilst in the deep confines of his citadel, murmuring softly as he ponders the destitute reality of the elves plight.

He pens a letter now, though- parchment and quill in hand as he wrote.

 

“I see impracticalities in elven beautification, if you’d like a new ear, however, I could provide.
